But the ad said it was gonna be a game changer lol
  2. Printing full bleed on aluminum blanks on flatbed - jigs?

For masking our flatbed we use the plastic liner from Avery 6460 lam. It sucks down great and costs nothing. If there's only a couple of items you can lay a full cover, print the panel template then cut just inside the shape with a knife. Peel out the centre and there's your jig.
  3. Printing full bleed on aluminum blanks on flatbed - jigs?

We use 3mm MDF on our Zund router table. I imagine it'd work just as well on a flatbed printer.
  4. New Océ Colorado 1640

I know Flash in Sydney have several.
  5. Tips For Reducing Wastage

At my shop I allot 2 squares of toilet paper a person per day.
  6. New Product Epson 60600 vs Summa DC5

16 pass on a 60600 is ridiculous. 6 pass is fine for most work - 8 is near photo quality. That grain in the blue isn't something we see on ours.
  7. Overlaminate separating from vinyl

We use 6460 lam and have never had an issue with our 360 prints.
  8. How to get your printer off the truck!

That's funny but illegal on so many levels. That's here in Sydney.
  9. HP 370 - Centering Banner Issues

Same here. I usually just left justify and be done with it.

We run 4 printers from one copy of Thrive. Not sure why you'd want to run two separate PCs running the same rip.

You have an Oce rep? Try them.
  12. How Concerned should I be about Gassing Out a print?

If we can we wait the recommended time before laminating. Rush jobs for flat surfaces sometimes straight off the printer. Wrap prints, overnight or they are too stretchy and the adhesive too aggressive.
  13. Suggestions New Printer, HP vs Epson

The latex inks are more scratch resistant than the eco sol. But colours and lengths are more reliable on the Epson.
  14. Cutting Foamcore - What am I missing

Wow. This must be the easiest board to cut. Sharp blade at not too steep an angle and voila.
  15. Best fume extraction option ?

When we have our flatbed and eco solvent cranking we just open a window.
  16. Need Help First time digital printer purchase

The Epson 60600 and 80600s are good.
  17. Installing graphics on glass

If you're sure of the sizes trim top and one side to size with bleed only on the other edges. Then you can slide it into place knowing it will be square and just trim the 2 edges.
  18. Rant HP Latex 365 Frequent Head Crashes

We only have major headstirke issues on certain (usually cheap) vinyls. The liner seems to be especially sensitive to temperature change and will curl the edge as soon as it hits the cure zone.
  19. Need Help New printer

We have 2 HP 360s and recently bought an Epson 60600. If you're used to eco solvent then you'll love the Epson. It's fast, good quality and the inks dry quickly. The colour repeatability and accurate panel length makes it our go-to for wall and vehicle wraps. Having said that we still use the...
