Give Panorama Wall & Walk a try...it's used for floor graphics (carpet, concrete, etc.) but I've done some tests on walls and it's great. Sticks really well. I have not tested long term as far as removal yet, but that's not usually my worry. These days it's getting something to STICK. Also it is...
And what are the odds the LAST place that did them didn't print them the 'correct' color that the file was. Yours may have been right and the previous ones were wrong.
Yes it's easy to do yourself....but it ties up a plotter for a very long time, and your printer, if you only have one. I'd sub it out even having multiple printers. That's also lots of man hours weeding and slicing to strips if they want them. I estimate over 133 full 54" sheets at 10' long runs...
3" Letters? I don't think so. I've done a ton of them and 2" is about the max you can go on that little sign, just for RESERVED PARKING and the like. Some are less depending on the amount of verbiage.
Ended up sending them their logo file they sent. The lady requesting it was thoroughly confused, and our salesperson did a horrible job explaining the situation. The file they sent was the entire sign layout with the logo in it, a PSD still layered. She did not know the logo could be extracted...
Weird, I just changed the strip on mine and the glue came off easily, one nice strip. It had only been on about a year though, maybe yours is much older. I seem to have to change it about once a year.
I found the logo file they sent us. I had our girl send it back to them. Waiting to see if they say "no, we want the files you printed". NOPE. Ain't gonna happen.
Customer who has ordered only a few signs in the past, who sent their logo to us back then, calls and wants to know if we have their logo to send to them. They want to send it to another sign company to get something made. They claim they can't find the logo file. All we have are the Flexi...
Looking at GF website, the product description says "This film is designed to accept a variety of solvent-based inkjet and UV curable inks common to wide format digital printing systems.". Now I don't know why it wouldn't include Latex....many other product descriptions list it, so I guess...
We've got one we brought in the shop, from off Dallas Parkway. Ripped it off the posts, left about a 3" wide strip of material on the posts. Those were some sturdy screws!
First problem is your assumption that what you see on the screen is what will print. Unless you have your printer and monitor calibrated perfectly together, and even then, you will never get them to appear exactly the same. That being said, it's all down to the profile and settings on your...
