BigFish..what standard sized does that lam come in? Can you slit it down if someone needed it - say for a 48" machine? :-)

FWIW - Mike at Insignia is a stand up guy and very good at what he does. At the same time Merritt is great and does excellent work too, but being that you're in Cincy I would consider Insignia since they're a reasonable drive. You never know when you'll ruin a print and need a rush re-print...

Another vote for Mike at Insignia - for emergencies you could drive up and there and pick up directly. (Something to think about...)

That may or may not be the case. Many times when you get cross contamination it is due to a poor seal around the head and capping station. Check to make sure your drain lines are not plugged/blocked and that everything is squeeky clean around the head and capping station. This can also happen...

Hmm, never thought about that - but doesn't the machine have a "physical" limitation on how big it prints? So if I change my setting from a 1204 to a 1304 in Wasatch I can't print 49" on 50" media, right?

As I understand it, the printers own firmware limits how wide the printing swipe is. I've read that you can adjust your margin out a little to help this. Also, I believe there is a way to hack the firmware to get another inch +/- but you'll have to search back through some of the old files for...

I only use Bantex as well - FWIW I tried the Grimco brand stuff 15-16oz and it's just plain garbage. Contact BigFish (merchant member here) he usually has a lot of options on banner materials.

Hmm, after using 3651 with 210 almost religiously for the past 3 years on most of my intermediate stuff I was just contemplating trying out the IJ35 because it's about $25/roll cheaper than the 3651. Maybe now I won't... *Sorry for your troubles, hopefully someone else can chime in with some...
