  1. Heads

Just make sure that you leave the printer turned on while you are gone. If it's just a week, it will be fine as long as you're maintaining it properly. You may have to run a cleaning or 2, but the printer will run light cleanings daily while you're gone.
  2. Need Help Neon glow in Flexi Pro

You might be able to do it in Flexi with some plugins. Not sure which ones to recommend though.
  3. Suggestions How many of you are having this happening................... ??

The best thing I did about this was switch to Vonage phone service (not a commercial here, I'm sure other providers accommodate this) and I get to block the numbers that I don't want calling me. They still come, but they are dropping dramatically.
  4. L26500 Grey printing problem

every RIP, I've used can linearize. Flexi can produce full ICC profiles. BTW, if you don't realize what Flexi can or can't do, you're probably not in a position to say which one is superior Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  5. Looking for Ink cartridge information for mutoh

As Haase said, if you price it right, it shouldn't matter. As GAC said, it's going to vary greatly. And knowing historical ink costs will only really help if you're going to repeat the job. Failing someone accept those 2 realities and they still insist on knowing a cost per print, we...
  6. Need Help WE NEED HELP WITH OLD GRAPHTEC FC 4100-130 DRIVER?

How are you connecting to the computer? USB or Serial Port via USB to serial port adapter?
  7. Color Profile Help

Density Control Only is just for printing your swatches from i1 Publish. Once you've created the media file and linked the icc profile, you would use the color management preset of your choice. (My favorite is Sign and Display, but you may prefer one of the other ones.)
  8. Cyan ink won't print

Sounds like an air leak. Could be an O-ring somewhere or cracked/broken manifold.
  9. Anybody out there printing on (acoustical) ceiling tiles?

I've done it on the tiles and on the acrylic lenses for the light fixtures as well.
  10. Color Profile Help

Timkaz, I use the steps in VW to create what I can there - Ink restrictions, linearization and ink limits, save the media file (.RML), then print your test charts from the xrite software using that (incomplete) media file and set your color management preset to Density Control Only. Then create...
  11. Graphtech CE6000-6 starting to cut sloppy

Could be the blade holder, or the cutting strip, or loose bearings on the slider or loose bearings on the grit shaft... There's a lot that can go wrong with a plotter.
  12. Software Help Onyx 12 Postershop QuickSet Help

Try using the Right Click>Run as Administrator option.
  13. Suggestions Decals won't release.

If your cut settings are correct, I'm assuming it's just the trouble of getting an edge to pick up? Have you tried this on a 6 mil vinyl?
  14. Roland Color Issue - Grey/Green Prints Magenta

Shifts in greyish colors are usually due to a non-linearized profile. Since you're still using an XC-540, I would guess that the heads have quite a few miles on them by now and may not be up to par with a healthy machine that was used to create the profile to begin with. (Even 2 subsequent...
  15. Cutting ACM... the right way, the cleanest way...

We cut a lot of it with our sheet metal shear Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  16. HP latex ink usage

I'm on. My very first ink set.. and heads. I'll probably be through the back in by next week. I think I'll compare job history, to ink through the print head, vs when it says I'm out of ink... See if they all align. I'm sure there's not exact 400 ml per ink cartridges for the 110, but how much...
  17. HP latex ink usage

Thanks for the thorough explanation ikarasu.:)
  18. Carriage disconnected

I'd start by cleaning your encoder strip. That message really means that the scan motor encoder and the linear encoder signals are no longer in sync.
  19. Best stool recommendation for install

I like my Z creeper for auto work as well.
  20. HP latex ink usage

I'm not from that end of the business, so forgive me, but I'm curious what percentage of the sale price of a typical job do your ink costs typically run? And I realize that the point of this thread is that you really don't know due to the widely varying levels being reported by the printer. So...
