Print Cut
Looks like the printer / cutter set up will be released after the Print only unit. I don't have an exact price but it wil be more expensive then the HP. What kind of saleable speeds do the current HP latex printers run at?
This product will be the first of a list of new offerings...
Plus one
I agree with Sightline
We had one of each in our showroom and the difference was not noticable from a couple of feet away, even close up it was hard to see, and remember it is a sign, not a flower
Pumps
We now have pumps that have a thin plastic gasket that seperates the tube from the gear. We have been selling them for 10 months with no problems

will not work in a Falcon Jr
Jv3
Locate the tube that comes from the cap top to the pump. Stick a syringe on the tube and try to suck ink down from the head. if you get air bubbles the cap may not be sealing to the head.
But before you do that pour some cleaning solution in each of the caps and see if it drains to the...
Roland
I wonder about Roland also. They seem to be very slow these days as far as advancements in their ink jet printers. Mimaki is currently using the DX5 print head, and Mutoh is using the next generation DX6 (or DX7 depending on who you talk to) last time I looked the Roland Versa Art...
So it's true
I hear the new printers will be at the ISA Orlando show along with a print- cut system. I guess the white ink option is the real big news. Maybe latex white will not have all the issues of solvent whites.
That printer
If it has been sitting unplugged i would suggest
Change out the dampers
get a syringe and try to push cleaning solution (gently) through the heads
pour cleaning solution on the cap tops and see if they drain
you may have dried ink in all the lines from the cap tops on down...
Parts
MOPAR
(does anyone really know what that stands for?)
I have the parts at www.solventinkjet.com, give us a call, I have techs on staff who can trouble shoot your printer.
Billboard printer
A customer of mine who worked at a place here in Colorado said they did recycle the waste ink. They add pigment to the inks to get the right black. With the 40+ printers they have, it would make sense to recycle rather then pay to have it taken away
That head
I would also go with damage to the head, I would take them out and have a look at the bottom. Take a look at the screws that are between the cap tops. We are seeing the top of the capping assy swell up when certian aftermarket inks are used. Once this happens the screws strike the...
