I have been hearing rumors that a latex printer cutter is about to be introduced. Anyone have more information on such a product? I am just guessing, but I would think Roland would be first to market such a device.
let me know
pads
take the pads out, put in the middle of that phone book you never use. this will flatten them out and dry them. At this point you can split them in half and re install. Will work for a while. The new caps come with a wire mesh insert to prevent the swelling. They are at www.solventinkjet.com
Deflection
That is some pretty bad deflection. Get some cleaning solution and a syringe, some flexible tubing. once you have that, pull the damper and push cleaning solution gently through the head.
Mimaki

Cap top
If the tube is clogged you can feel the dried ink in the line when you press it between your fingers
Might be best to replace the capping assy.
I have them at www.solventinkjet.com
That Roland

What is the cost per square foot for the inks?
Do they really cost more to run from an electrical standpoint?
What kind of usable...
