I built the sheet goods material storage for my own shop. It tucks in beside the router, and swings out to the garage door to get material out and load back into.

In respect of what you said to Gino, and I am not taking up his side, but when someone comes on and posts the first time and says this: My first thought is to read what he said, which is "for my hobbies" and " I might dabble", which says hobby. We all know someone in our town that has...

I just went on ebay and did a search for Summa... and I came across an auction for a summa plotter... price is cheap so I thought I'd read it, and in the description it says: Very nice SUMMA 48" cutter plotter. 6. Ladder or Lift? Installation Help

Ok, I'm sorry, but this has to be a joke. I mean, if someone is asking this type of question just blows my mind. The answer is common sense, and if he is seriously asking this question to get an answer, this guy has no buisiness in the sign buisness. He, or if he has employees, one of them is...
  7. Dogs Anyone?

I've always had dogs. In our family they are more like members, than pets. I've had Basset Hounds mostly, and they are pretty good dogs, just think they are entitled. I'd say that the best dog I've ever had was a mutt. 1/2 Chihuahua and 1/2 Pomeranian. Most friendly dog I've ever owned...

+1... I think dynabrade has one. I've used it in the past, and removal is a snap. You just can't use it on fiberglass, because it will turn the panel yellow, but on steel auto body panels, nothing beats it...
  11. Construction Logo

I think your maybe getting ahead of yourself. Try designing in black and white, and when you get a good design, then add colors.

  17. Another MDO sign question

And I also take my hand held router and run around the edge with a 1/8" roundover bit. That takes the sharp edge off the corner, and allows the paint to conform over and it won't fail as quickly.
  18. SignGold vs. Vinyl efx Gold

    1. Signgold looks more like traditional gold leaf. The R-tape is a more shinny, more like you would expect a mylar type film to look. I personally like the sign gold more, but like you said the cost can be prohibitive. 2. You must seal sign gold, or it will turn black in about 2 or 3 years...
