Thanks for the tips Matt! I agree, the price difference is crazy. I'm sure it's a more powerful/capable set up, but if I was going to invest that much in a router I would just put that towards getting a standalone cnc.
Good to know, thanks Sean. Speaking of accuracy, any issues with running sheets longer than the bed? Can it actually cut 100% accurately if it only cuts half the sheet then moves it over and continues?
Sorry to be a :thread but I thought of something else I wanted to ask...
Is there a way to cut a full 4' x 8' into singles without barcodes or reg. marks? Say, for example, a full sheet of 16" x 24" coroplast or sintra signs.
Can you just set your base point and send a cut only file down? Are...
Thanks for the info Phil.
Regarding the router options - have you had any customers go with the basic Kress router and regret the decision and move up to the HQ one?
Realistically, we would be using the other tools 85% of the time but I just want the option to cut dibond, sintra, thin acrylic...
So with the extension table, you end up with an 8' long bed? Do you have pics of the set up? Do you mind sharing roughly what that cost, I'm assuming it has be installed by a tech on site? Thanks!
Are you deleting all the inside objects after quick tracing? Are you quick tracing just to get a cut line?
Are you ending up with a huge file when exporting? Either way, I agree this is strange.
If you'd like to try emailing me one of the files I can try loading it in Versaworks and see what...
Just out of curiosity, what kind of cardboard sheets do you guys use for this?
Regarding the OP, we honestly use coroplast more than anything for packing large signs etc. Always scraps around and you can cut/slit/fold to make it work for almost anything.
I'm looking for a vendor in Saskatchewan or Alberta that can print a couple banners for me and drop-ship to customer in Saskatchewan.
1 @ 82" x 104" w/ hemmed edges and grommets on all 4 sides
1 @ 88" x 244" w/ hemmed edges and grommets on all 4 sides
Any recommendations?
And I've already...
Latest update - order was "damaged" and undeliverable. Seller was supposed to issue refund, they didn't.
I have to say this is probably one of the only times I've ever had an issue buying on Amazon. Sent them an email/rant telling them I want my product or money back. See what they say.
Love it! I like what you did with the hazmat suit.
Looks like me playing with my new pressure washer I bought over the weekend. So many things to spray.
Maybe we'll have one to check out when we come in tomorrow morning........?
And yes, even though I've been working/at the shop as usual, I have been locked down for too long.
If you're already printing on high quality, the only other thing you could try is to print uni-directional and slow the head speed way down.
Might not make much of a difference, but it might be worth a shot.
Good luck, hope you guys are doing ok out in BC.
