  1. Winter Scenes

Wow, I guess you would need that horsepower to create all those high res designs! I can't even wrap my head around how you would begin to design things like that. I always see your close-ups on Facebook and am just blown away. Thanks for sharing, keep up the good work!
  2. Winter Scenes

These are awesome. Are these all designed from scratch? Love seeing your work, always curious how you come up with all these original designs.
  3. Suggestions need help choosing the right floor vinyl for social distancing stickers

We're running an order right now and are using GF 210 HTAPAE w/ Avery DOL 2080. Combination of high-tack, air-egress vinyl and non-slip laminate.
  4. Gerber Edge Floor Graphics

There is an "Abrasion Guard" foil, but I wouldn't consider it a replacement for a laminate in this case, not to mention the fact that technically floor decals should carry a slip-resistance rating. Gerber/3M did (maybe still do) sell a floor graphic kit w/ a 10ish mil laminate like Bill said...
  5. Covering (wall mounted) sign boxes w/ banners?

No worries, appreciate the suggestion anyways! I hadn't thought of going right into the face.
  6. Covering (wall mounted) sign boxes w/ banners?

Good point Gino. I also just remembered that the big one is a flex face. Back to the original plan to wrap and tap.
  7. Covering (wall mounted) sign boxes w/ banners?

Thanks! And yeah that is a pretty ironic last name for a dentist lol.

Update: Expected delivery: Friday, Apr. 24, 10:30 am to 2:30 pm (That's better)
  9. Covering (wall mounted) sign boxes w/ banners?

Thanks guys, I like this idea. Do you have any pictures of how it turned out? I'm just wondering how visible the washers would be. I take it hemmed edges & grommets may not be necessary if we go this route? Customer is hoping to "re-use" them afterwards but we all know how that goes.
  10. Covering (wall mounted) sign boxes w/ banners?

Sweet, thanks. I'll check out S365 as well, but 4over's pricing on these banners is pretty damn impressive. Not much more than my cost to print them in-house.
  11. Covering (wall mounted) sign boxes w/ banners?

Thanks Scott. Where you happy with the 4over banners? These banners will have a fairly solid grey (yay) background so I'm a little concerned about quality. I need to outsource them either way but hadn't considered 4over. One is in AB and one in SK so either way shipping will be involved.
  12. Covering (wall mounted) sign boxes w/ banners?

Thanks for the tips fellas! Unclebun, I'm a little concerned about this too. I think just to be safe I would encourage them to cut the power to the box for now while temporary banners are in place, and have the company installing new faces down the road patch/fill the holes when that time comes.
  13. PANTONE Reflex Blue vinyl?

Gerber 220 Sapphire Blue 220-37 Avery 750/950 Royal Blue Orafol Cobalt Blue 750-065 All close-ish but the Avery one looks closest to me
  14. Swabs For Cleaning Ecosolvent Printer Heads

I've always used swab-its in the past (usually order 2,000 at a time) but after checking again and looking at your link, I'm going to give those amazon ones a shot. You're right about the exchange rate being brutal, and shipping isn't cheap from Swab-its and we always get hit with brokerage fees...
  15. Covering (wall mounted) sign boxes w/ banners?

Working on a project for a customer that is re-branding a couple of locations. They want to cover up their existing sign boxes with a temporary banner, which will be up for 3-6 months. Both locations are in different provinces so I can't do a proper site check. One box is 74" H x 96" W (lexan...
  16. Laminator Roller Cleaners?

Run it with your foot on the pedal at a low speed. This way if anything happens you just lift your foot and it stops instantly. I use premask and wrap it around. Let it do a couple rotations then peel it off and it looks brand new.
  17. Is Cut Server stupid or am I?

Thanks for the tip, I will give this a shot!
  18. Is Cut Server stupid or am I?

Same here. Those pictures look exactly like when I was experimenting with Cut Server and SVG files for cut only job. Never did get it to work.
  19. Printer Bridge by 4over

Interesting, this is the first I hear of this. Has anyone successfully used this?
  20. NEED TO KNOW

Hey Scott, would love some more info on this. Care to share the supplier/specs? (You can send me a PM if you prefer) I cringe every time I pay $3+ for a roll of 1" painters tape!! Cheers, Pat
