  1. Oraguard 210 = UV burn

All I can say is try them Wayne, I use the 3641 profile daily on a cast hi-tac 3m product and the print quality and color consistency is superb(wish I could say that for the vinyl). I have ran that profile almost exclusively for the last 12 or so years on Mimaki JV3s, HP latex, and now on...
  2. Oraguard 210 = UV burn

No, but if you spray twice as much paint it's going to take longer to dry. I would also bet that Roland makes way more money on ink sales than they do on printer sales. OraCal profiles are the best out there, I use them for all brands and medias...the 3641 or 3951 will look great on pretty...
  3. Boat striping

$300 was just for the labor.
  4. Boat striping

Plus a little extra for the guy with the million dollar boat who will likely insist on perfection, not that it should be hard at all if the surface is properly prepped/cleaned.
  5. Printing on Marine Grade vinyl?

Are you talking upholstery vinyl, floor vinyl, or exterior graphics?
  6. Corel Gurus

To me it appears to be going fast in reverse. Shouldn't it be tilting to the left?
  7. Oracal Issues

Are you claiming 100% failure over multiple rolls of material, one roll, 1/5 of a roll? Not calling the OP a hack by any means, but I mostly agree with everything Gino said. I am not a scientist nor a chemist but I have my doubts as to whether any cast vinyl could destroy a factory paint job...
  8. Can you wrap blindfolded?

I feel your pain, I did an install about 5 years ago, middle of summer 90+ degrees and humid in customers huge warehouse 2 hours from home with no A/C, and poor lighting. I had to run down to a dollar store and buy a bag of cheap white t-shirts to wrap around my head and my hairy arms to keep...
  9. Fc3100-120 able to read registration mark? Contour cut.

Judging by the User's Manual I would hazard to guess that is does not have an ARMS sensor. http://www.graphtecamerica.com/docs/User_Manuals/CutPlot_UM/legacy/FC3100-100-120.pdf
  10. Graphtec FC8600 cutting round corners

Make sure your blade holder is not packed with gunk at the tip where the blade extrudes from.
  11. Flexi 12 break apart multi page PDF

Isn't this what 'NEST' does? I never use it but it sounds like it might work for you. Try holding down CTRL and selecting all the files you want, then right click on a highlighted file and I'm assuming NEST is an option. Or in Production Manager preview area, just hold-left click the bottom...
  12. What is the best reflective for printing?

5600 prints great, so does 5700. My guess is the 5650 RA will be easiest to remove.
  13. FC8600 Cutting Thick Overlam

I would recommend a 1.5 mm blade holder and the corresponding blades for starters. http://www.graphtecamericastore.com/php33-cb15n-hs/ As far as die-cutting, I have little experience with it but I know it dulls blades much quicker.
  14. Prints Fading, Possible Solutions

I would use Orafol 3551 with either 290 or 215 lam for that job. We have a contractor with several all black aluminum work trailers with that combo that is 5 years out and I saw 2 of them last fall up close, looked almost as good as the day I installed them with large red text and a 1" yellow...
  15. New HP 110 - having strike head issues

I would definitely lower the temps some, like others have said the profile default temps are usually way too high. HP Poster Paper is the best way to go for paper posters, it prints amazing and from what I remember it was reasonably priced. Good Luck.
  16. Old Coke Font

    Gras-Vibert Expanded possibly.
  17. OK this is new??

I ran our first Epson for almost a year with that error message(per boss's directive) and had no issues. My understanding was it was related to ink delivery, a pump or some such thing.
  18. whats a good strong adhesive vinyl for low energy plastics?

MacTac Rebel is decent on low energy surfaces, comes in 54" matte white or gloss clear.
  19. Am I getting a good deal on this Graphtec?

Is the warranty transferable? Either way seems like a fair deal, if all is in order and working condition.
  20. contour cutting then flexcutting over it?

Try turning your speed down yet? or a different angled blade maybe.
