  2. Print/Cut Question

I have a VP-540 and a Canon aqueous printer. I currently use versaworks for my Roland and print right from Photoshop on my Canon. Is there a program I can use that would allow me to print from my Canon with the necessary registration marks and run it through my Roland to cut them out? The Canon...
  3. Canvas printed on an HP 5500UV?

I have had good luck with coatings from either Lexjet or IT Supplies. You would want to put a good UV coating on it.

Unfortunately, when mine did this, it was the mainboard that had to be replaced. I was lucky enough to have it still under warranty.

  7. New Versaworks Update SUCKS!

Having to redo all of your queue settings is what really sucks, but, after doing this, it is working a lot better now. No crashes yet! Knock on wood.
  8. New Versaworks Update SUCKS!

Hmmm. I haven't done either of those. I do have some print/laminate/cut jobs in the works, so I will finish them up first. I did't notice a FW update. I have never had these problems before after an update, which is why I didn't reinitialize.
  9. New Versaworks Update SUCKS!

Has anyone else done the latest update to VW? Ever since I did it, I have had nothing but problems with it crashing all of the time. It is random as well.
  10. What would cause this???

5 Years would be acceptable, but my is only 2 and I don't run it non-stop everyday. It gets used frequently, but I'm not a large production shop. And also that the color I go through the least is the first one to go bad?
  11. What would cause this???

So you don't think it was your ink that did that to yours?
  12. What would cause this???

    What ink were you using?
  13. What would cause this???

New cap tops and it still looks the same. The test print looks perfect!
  14. What would cause this???

I have new cap tops to install and I have done some heavy cleaning in the mean time and it has seemed to have gotten better already. What is the best way to do a head soak?
  15. What would cause this???

I have been getting some fuzziness around whatever prints blue. This is what I found when I did a detailed bi-directional adjustment test print. Everything else works perfectly and the test prints are perfect. Reading the Roland site, it says number 2 and 4 are the "smaller" dot pattern prints...
  16. Inks and Spare Parts

I have excellent luck with Solaris. It has been well over a year now and no problems yet.
  17. Who uses this?? LG Hausys Film

The LG digital media I tried printed like crap.

I am just wondering if anyone has used Versaworks through Parallels on a Mac?

  20. monte carlo flags

Has anyone ever redone the checkered flags on the sides of a monte carlo? I am trying to see if I can find a file to use to cut them out. Thanks.
