Liquecolor shows that they have 2 different versions for the #83 HP cartridge. One that is for microporous at $169 each and one that is not for $99 each. From what I have read, the cheaper one sounds like crap, but then there is no point switching for the little you save with the other one...
Trying to get you to use their solvent ink again? I know I haven't heard many good things about their solvent line, but it seems their aqueous line is okay.
Why would you use aftermarket in a new printer? Especially since it is totally new and bound to have problems when a new product first hits the streets.
I also use Solaris and love it. I think it looks better than OEM. I get mine from Ciber Supply. Talk to Bobby, he is cheaper than Fellers. (and a merchant member here)
