We charge our full hourly rate for travel time (we should really add mileage on top of that). Our operating costs don't suddenly get lower when we leave the building.
I would charge based on a round trip from our shop to the install location. Doesn't matter if we combine 2 tasks for different clients into one trip every once in awhile - that's a bonus for us.

I don't know what the cost is to set up an account with ArcGIS but this is how you do it, if you want the map to be customizable, export to...
I took Avery's wrap training with Justin Pate a few years ago and it included some really basic training on how to set up a wrap design for production in Illustrator.

He does a lot of training videos that are available online as well - there might be some...
Edge caps are for plywood. ACP looks better bare than it would with edge caps. Anyway, you might have a tough time finding them in 3mm. This post from 2010 was never resolved:

Google is great for finding out what options there are. It's not as good for finding out what other sign people would personally recommend, which I think is what OP was really trying to find out.
Just tell the client what your concerns are and that the letters might be damaged in the removal. If any letters have to be replaced, they might not match unless you replace all of them. Give them an estimate for each scenario if you want.
I don't understand. Why are you printing on clear acrylic if you don't want to see through it? Print on white acrylic. Or if you want the objects in the image to be opaque and the background to be transparent, fill those areas with white ink before printing CMYK.
Apple needs to get their **** together. I get clients telling me that all the spot colours are black when they view a PDF proof on their iPad. What's the point of PDF if some idiots at Apple break it so it's no longer a universal format?
"A vector file contains an outline of the shape for the machine to cut. This is a raster file, which is just a big grid of pixels (*zooms in*). See? There's no outline of the letters in this file."
That's how these conversations usually go and I've never had a client who argued beyond that...
To be clear, the trim marks you see when you're editing artboards are an on-screen visual indicator only. They do not get printed. If you are getting printed trim marks it's probably due to having them turned on when you export to PDF, but I believe they are normally off by default.
