Sounds like a decent price, but make sure you have someone who can service it for you. We have a 74" Roland also and have found that there are some static issues unless you keep the humidity high--50%-60%.

Ahh.. tiling. I HATE Versaworks for tiling. I'd setup the tiling myself in your design program. That's going to be your best bet, just create two separate shapes with the overlap that will fit nicely on your media and print as two separate jobs. I'd be willing to be that something funky...

It looks to me like you're printing cold. Can you turn the heat up from the control panel and verify that the platen is supposed to be hot?

We use a "mild solvent" ink. MLD from Triangle. Very similar to EcoSol.

Ultraflex is king for banners. For literally two cents a foot, why use anything else?

We've never had an issue. We have LOTS of perf installed, and see it all the time. Still looks good. Ages range from brand new to about three years old.
