I'm pretty sure I took it from the 740 when I sold the 640 and couldn't find that one.
So this bracket just prevents the carriage from moving to the left?
I could rig up a piece of wood or something to do the same thing.
I rang Roland Australia and they said I'd have to order one from Japan...
I sold our 740 and the buyer is coming to collect in a week or so.
Thing is I can't find the blue printhead lock anywhere.
Is there another way to secure the thing for trucking 3-4 hours away or do I need to get one?
Uncoated papers don't print well in the 360s.
I managed to get the HP PhotoRealistic Poster paper to print without buckling but got a weird dot pattern from the hot air that blows on the media as it exits the machine.
Coated solvent papers work fine in it.
Some support would be nice.
After upgrading to v11 Onyx and getting their Advantage pack in the deal there is still no option to contact support.
Not even an email address. Phone support is a paid extra.
Although from using them in the past they were fairly clueless anyway.
Yuh I just won't install vinyl supplied by others any more.
Nice save though.
And although you can't see up close it looks like your installer did a decent job of the cr@p with no air release.
I find Onyx profiling to be simple and easy.
I use it with great success on my Roland and two older HP latex machines.
The 360 is set up differently though and it seems Onyx expects the profiles to be created on the printer then downloaded to the rip.
Interesting you should say that Mike.
We've had ours a few weeks now.
I looked for info on profiling but couldn't see how to generate a profile using Onyx.
Can you quickly describe how that could be done?
We profile our other printers using a spectro etc.
