A couple of other things to consider.
Some media's liner seems to slip on the rollers making it run out of whack after it gets going. So try another type of vinyl.
We also had an issue recently where the cutter couldn't find the rego marks. Seemed that the Winplot Illy plugin was making the...
Save from Illy to PDF using the Illustrator default settings.
This won't jpeg any images or change colour.
Use the same profile settings in Thrive as in illustrator.
Also to make sure the rip has the right media profiles make sure you turn off auto sync and d/l them manually each time you...

We gave up on Cutserver and it's mysterious errors.
Now we just use Winplot with our Summa cutter and never have an error.
File setup does take a little extra - but how much longer does it take to add a Cut layer while you're already in Illy setting up your cut paths?

Or if we do, charge a premium.
They invariably send us the cheapest crap possible to install for next to nothing.
Then if we screw up it's our fault.
I have some friends who make and sell leather motorcycle gear.
They have bought a cutter and heat press but have no clue about using the right film for leather.
Does anyone have experience or knowledge on a product that works well?
Printable or coloured film.
Thanks in advance.
Good call Gino.
I get busy and normally let them slide.
I am going to try and follow up more this year.
We usually just email them but you're right a phone call is more effective.
