    i am pretty sure that should cool down when not in use i know when ever i start my first job it takes a while to start because it has to heat up (NOW HEATING.....) don't know what that means in your case what do you have it set at? maybe you have it set too high and it stays hot longer?

    i haven't had any issues and i would imagine you should be ok all the products we order have recommendations as far as temperatures for storage and i am pretty sure the temps in the shipping trucks have never and never will meet those specs

    we have the xc-540 works great but we have always had roland print cut systems (sp300 and vp540) so don't know about the jv33 but we have had minimal to no problems with our roland units and the xc speed and color is great go see a demo at a local dealer that is your best bet
