  1. Forced into low ink densities on the L360

Trying to idiot proof it like this is total BS. The problem with loading as backlit banner to be able to get to a minimum ink density of 130 is that the least amount of passes that you are able to select is 12. So I take it that speed and high gammit output is not possible with this machine...
  2. Forced into low ink densities on the L360

You can do all that but for PVC Banner and Vinyl you still can't set the ink density higher than 120% no matter what other settings you use. Like I said the only way I see around that is to use Textile, Backlit or maybe Paper substrate settings for banner or vinyl. I will still have to test all...
  3. Forced into low ink densities on the L360

With reading dryer module resistant values and entering then into my L25500 I could no longer boot up the printer without getting errors. I was planning on getting the L360 anyway and didn't want to put any more expense into a new drying module on the L25500 or finding it was something else...
  4. Cut Master 2 for Mac Adobe CC 2014 ?

Go to /Applications/Cutting Master 2 1.95/Plug-in/CC/CutPlot403 folder. There is a folder called CC in there with the correct plug-ins. Copy those to the /Applications/Adobe Illustrator CC 2014/Plug-ins/CutPlot403 folder. Remove the plug-ins for CS5 in the /Applications/Adobe Illustrator CC...
  5. Cut Master 2 for Mac Adobe CC 2014 ?

You have the wrong plugins installed. They should be CutPlotCC.aip and CutPlotCC.aip. Doyle
  6. Cut Master 2 for Mac Adobe CC 2014 ?

Cutting Master 2 version 1.94 works fine with Illustrator 2014 on OS 10.8.5.
  7. HP L260 thick paper

If it is one sided reverse wind it on another roll and let it set for a day or two and then manual load it.
  8. L380

The successor to the L280. Anyone hear anything yet?
  9. HP Latex 360 it here

I understand the speed issue, but I am really wondering about is what effect it has on the can't lay down much ink products in regards to increasing color gamut.
  10. HP Latex 360 it here

SO how much ink lay-down can be gained by using that Latex Optimizer on fabrics and other media that had to have low ink limits with the previous printers. What percentage of Latex Optimizer with what materials?
  11. L26500 magenta dropping out

Not totally correct. HP will not honor the warranty after the date on the head package. You don't want to have too many that might end up sitting around too long and go past the warranty date.
  12. Questions for Those Who Have Latex Printers

I think they said the same thing about the L25500 and L26500. But .030 runs fine, but best to load it only in a warm up printer.
  13. L26500 - quick onyx color tip?

Are you using the onboard spectrophotometer for color calibration only or are you creating a profile also. If you using a canned profile that is probably your problem. You probably have checked to see if you have blocked nozzles. If you have access to a spectro to calibrate and profile off...
  14. ONYX Postershop, ONYX Thrive or Caldera?

You might want to take a look at the Fiery XF RIP. Works client/server just like your Command Workstation with your EX RIP so you can run everything from your Mac. While you can run the XF server on a Mac the HP Latex drivers only run on the XF server on Windows. Don't know if this will change...
  15. Hp l360

Sounds like we might have the best of both worlds. Use the on-board profile creation sequence or RIP based when we want to push gamut boundaries for media that will allow it and the opposite for media like textiles that won't allow. It will interesting to see how the higher end RIPs will handle...
  16. Hp l360

It will be real interesting hearing from advanced user who have lots of experience setting up CM, ink splits etc. Will not having control of this result in better output or not? Certainly hope you can still set ink limit based on what media and amount of passes you choose. If not you would be...
  17. 18oz banner for L25500

If that is the case maybe taking them out and cleaning might work just as well. Could they become contaminated with something that only shows up on certain media? Since this is really a problem of ink coalescing caused by a malfunction of the substrate, I find that setting the Inter Swath Delay...
  18. 18oz banner for L25500

I think you should try another brand. Ultraflex has serious quality control issues.
  19. Error 14:10:00, machine wiggles?

For 14:10 errors make sure your tech measures the steady and the burst resistant of the heating resistors, And then enters those numbers into the Drying Resistance Calibration in the service mode.
  20. Laminator disaster

The design of your laminator gets stranger every day. Why they think you would always want the table to be on. All I have found out I sure would not consider purchasing this laminator.
