We avoid these jobs by simply pricing them accurately. It does take $150 sometimes to make one "simple" little sign. Explain why, and if the price is too high, move on to the next customer. I find that the more we "pass" on little jobs, the more big jobs we have time for.
So it would still be handpainted after routing. I can't wait to see it!
Also, I do agree with the comments about the tagline and "Signs & Design". They don't fit at all. The tagline is probably fine besides needing a font replacement, but "Signs & Design" probably should be worked into the logo...
I think we need to see these sign frames to understand what you mean. I don't think it's economical, most of the time, for a manufacturer to offer sign frames in a variety of colours. Usually it's just "any colour you want as long as it's silver".
Versaworks has auto numbering built in as well. I've only used it once but it was surprisingly easy to figure out and it can read from a spreadsheet, so it doesn't have to be sequential.

Jeez, I hope you guys are kidding. I'm not even American and I know that your free speech amendment applies only to government, not message boards on the internet.
What's the advantage with Caldera? We run Versaworks here and we can calibrate the ink limits in each media profile as well as see an estimate of ink usage on each job.
I would have thought that theoretically, if two different RIPs are both profiled properly for the media you're using, they...
We print a 7/8" thick light grey border that goes to the edge of the bleed. This gives us an easy line to follow for trimming and for 1" hemming. We also print marks for the grommets.
The problem is that you don't know ANY of the rules of design and you're breaking all of them. Giving you tips and little changes here and there is not enough to teach you what you need to learn, especially when a lot of the tips are just telling you what to change, and not WHY.
Also the way...
