  6. Thermal printing 2.5 mil vinyl

We use tons of 651 for small decals and never laminate them. They hold up well for years and I've never seen shrinkage with 651. However, for "permanent" commercial applications we always use high performance vinyl with "real" laminate. We do allot of personalized high school team decals with...
  7. MacImprint

Just out of curiosity, are there any other MI users out there? It's hard to keep "obsolete" software going when hardware options are quickly disappearing. After using up a half dozen G4's I'm working with a G5 box that seems to be hanging in there. Been Carbon Copying the original Illustrator...
  8. Need Help Acrylic - Flame Polished - Craze

I once screen printed a dozen or so pieces of 1/2" thick acrylic that were made to be part of an underwater camera case. I used standard enamel screen ink. 11. Need Help Looking For 1 Mil Digital Clear Vinyl To Print On Please Help!

The Edge material is actually polyester, not vinyl. It prints great on the Edge and I have had allot of customers using it for this very thing. I do have my doubts about printing it on your eco sol unit however. I tried to print our topcoated 2mil poly on my old HP9000 solvent and only ended up...

I have jobs installed in a...
  14. Vinyl For Hdpe

Ditto on the blowtorch, It only takes a light sweep to burn off the plasitsers and greatly increased the adhesion of the vinyl.
  15. Prefered Screen Print Black

I stopped using the 7900 series corogloss 30 years ago. It was a pita to use, smelly, dried in the screen to quickly, even with my semi-auto screen press. I started using NaZdar's 9800 polybanner ink. Great viscosity right out of the can. Prints beautifully and have had 0 failures because of...
  16. Best Printer For Indoor Vinyl

I don't think that you'll get anything better than what you are looking at with the Roland. What I see had nothing to do with the stock or passes but the actual picoliter size of the ink drops that the Roland it putting out. It simply cannot "squirt" a smaller ink droplet than what you are...
  17. Onyx, Graphtex, Illustrator, Photoshop, Onyx Cut server

I've been running Illustrator, Caldera and Graphtec. 18. What material?

As Tammie said, these should be paper and Stouse's wholesale cost is less than your production cost on any vinyl. I run thousands of smaller decals on my HP latex and I order from Stouse when the job calls for it. This in indeed a Stouse job.
  19. Graphtec 7000

I bought a roll or 1/2" teflon tape years ago for less than the cost of a replacement strip. The hardest thing to do is cut it down to the 1/4" width. It is teflon after all. I can't remember the supplier but just Google it.
