  1. Just today receiving run-time errors in Flexi Cloud

It doesn't. FlexiCloud will work offline. You can even activate the software offline (with an activation file created online on a separate computer). The problem today was that it won't work online. If the computer with FlexiCloud was connected to the internet the crashes happened, but if you...
  2. Just today receiving run-time errors in Flexi Cloud

Currently it works, but with a "maintenance"-message in the cloud-window.
  3. Just today receiving run-time errors in Flexi Cloud

The error messages appear a lot of times, but anytime you klick Flexi in the foreground it will work. But as soon as you click the OK-Button on one of the error messages, Flexi closes. Be careful: this solution works with Flexi, but not with the Production Manager. It could happen that PM stops...
  4. Just today receiving run-time errors in Flexi Cloud

We in switzerland have 4 p. m. I've got the first mails around 2 hours ago.
  5. Just today receiving run-time errors in Flexi Cloud

It is a worldwide problem, NO FlexiCloud currently works correctly. Try the following: disconnect the computer from the internet (unplug the cable). Start FlexiCloud. Do anything with Flexi (choose a tool or such). replug the network cable. It will run then.
  6. Plotter for sandblasting ( rubber) stencils

If you think your SummaCUT D60 is to weak to plot this media, you will never ever be happy with a toy like the Cameo.
  7. A struggle ,,,SC-500

Control the settings of Menu Item CALIBRATION -> CUTTING ADJ is set to 0.00. If using Roland ColorChoice, check if the step resolution is correctly set to 1'016 steps per inch (40 steps per mm). Env. Match will propably not work because it checks only the Y-Axis.
  8. Profiling Media

You can set up the built in spectro for every single step of the calibration process (see enclosed pictures 1, 2, 3). It is the same in FlexiCloud. The swatch of my sample photo is an ICC-Swatch. I think your confusion is a result of that the HP Z6100/Z6200 have a built-in Color Management...
  9. Profiling Media

There is a scantable available (i1iO) for the i1.
  10. Profiling Media

Enclosed Picture: In the Printer the first 132 Patches of a ICC-Calibration Chart printed out of Onyx for the internal spectrophotometer. Taped on the Vinyl in the Printer: a 900 Patches-Chart for our Barbieri Spectro LFP.
  11. Profiling Media

Exactly. You can set up the L26500 as the measuring device for linearisation and calibration in Onyx Productionhouse, and it works. That is - as far as I think - because of the swatch size for using the internal i1 is very large. For 1'000 or 2'000 patches you need a lot of media.
  12. Roland Take Up With Crop Marks

It will not work. A take-up for a contour cutting plotter need to work completely different to the sequential way a print is taken up. The Summa take-up for the S-Class-Plotters for example will take up not earlier as the current panel or job is totally completed.
  13. Backlit profiling with i1 pro 2?

We use a i1 pro 2 too if calibrating out of the office (we do profiling services), but "at home" I prefer our Barbieri Spectro LFP: http://www.barbierielectronic.com/en/products/spectrophotometers/spectro-lfp/91-339.html It calibrates reflective and transmissive media, media up to 20mm...
  14. Backlit profiling with i1 pro 2?

If using a lightbox, the swatch will be illuminated from two different light sources (the light from the table and the light from the i1) ... I don't know what should happen with the measurements under this conditions. Our Spectrophotometer which can handle reflective and transmissive...
  15. Flexi Profile Creator, reuse characterization

Should be printed for each profile.
  16. How is Thrive?

The look and feel of Thrive is 99.9% the same as of Productionhouse. If you know how to use Productionhouse, you know how to use Thrive. The Design of the title bar is a little bit different (Thrive-Logo). Main differences: Adobe APPE RIP Engine More enhanced Webinterface Network Licence...
  17. ECO solvent ink printing without laminating?

Eco-Solvent is not highly scratch resistant without laminating. Printing on Vinyl with water-based pigment ink is not highly scratch resistant too, and the vinyl for this printers is more expensive. Eco-Solvent for indoor prints have some other difficulties too, specially because there will be...
  18. Printing / Contour Cutting Issue with two different machines

For my opinion there is no way to create Roland-Marks with the Mimaki-Software. For any idea I have, for example printing through Flexi-RIP OR using a flexi-feature named "Contour Cutting without RIP" to let Flexi set the roland registration marks for files which can then be printed through...
  19. Looking into buying a roland soljet sc-500

If you want to use it for gaming around, it could be ok. If you need a reliable production tool to serve your clients, it is no good decision to buy such old machines (with no idea what kind of additional cost could arise to bring it into working condition) ... specially if you are a beginner...
  20. Looking into buying a roland soljet sc-500

A Roland SC-500 its totally different to a Roland SC-540. The SC-500 is this: The SC-500 is based on the CJ-500/FJ-50, it prints with 2 DX2-Heads. They stop to sell them in 2003, 10 years ago. The SC-540 looks like this: The SC-540 prints with 6 DX4-Heads out of a double set of cartridges...
