I'm about to lose my mind.
Has anyone RECENTLY set up ShopVox with Quickbooks online? I keep having problems, and its a combination of issues. I keep asking SV questions, but they don't appear to understand what the issue is, and can't answer my questions.
Its insane, and I cannot imagine...
I am trying really hard to get ALL of my books in better order for 2018. My previous method worked fine for year end tax reporting purposes, but we need to do better.
My old accountant / bookkeeper didn't really care to help us use data to make good decisions, but we hired someone new who is...
wait, the other shop is expecting you to provide them files for free? nope.
and even though you have a good relationship with the interior designer, how is she not screwing you over? she said "just add the design time into phase 2" without a contract for it, and now she thinks she can get it...
Look, we all make mistakes, which is why we provide proofs in the first place. I'm not going to "own up" to a typo when its clearly stated that I am NOT RESPONSIBLE for typos on my proof form. Isn't that one of the reasons we provide proofs? For the client to make sure everything is correct? I'm...
I don't think anyone has ever had a problem opening an eps or pdf made by me, in corel. The same is not true with PDFs that were generated by Illustrator.
Right now, I'm dealing with a file that had clipping masks and symbols, and all sorts of illustrator jazz. Its so annoying.
This is awesome. But mostly because the only hobby I have is sewing/quilting and it makes me sad that I can't print my own fabric. I still can't since I don't have a latex machine, but maybe one day....
There is a fairly local "wholesale to trade" sign company who posts their prices online and gives any joe schmoe off the street the same price as a sign company. I used them a few times, but after a request to price match a huge mesh banner based on their wholesale to trade prices, with a link...
To answer your original question.. no, i do not believe all grommets are the same. We always order from Harbor Sales, they are unbranded, and they work great. One day I decided to order from another vendor, again, the grommets were unbranded and they were CRAP. The brass was thinner and they...
Are you talking about using your graphtec or mimaki?
I actually just figured out that Mimaki calls it "half cut" which makes googling a little bit easier :)
Is there anything more than increasing the pressure if I want to cut the stickers through the backer paper?
Doesn't doing this destroy the blade? What about the cutting strip?
We also have a Graphtec FC7000, but for print&cut we usually use the Mimaki.
i've printed images from stock sites at 50 dpi and they look great. I've made the joke that my printer can't print a bad image.
And when people send me full size images at 300 dpi, grrrr. Thanks for crashing my computer, jerks.
We do the same exact thing. Our shop min is $50, so let them them know we can do it for $50, or they can try the dude at the auction whose entire business model is selling one-off bumper stickers.
I'm not sure if you got your answer, but I would absolutely cut it short so you don't need to trim. I would probably make it 1/2" shorter than substrate size. Tape the top edge with 2" premask, peel the liner back about 2", then apply to substrate with a felt tipped squeegee. Then use a...
