use 3M's IJ680CR for rear chevrons on curved vehicles, I've put it on LOTs of van rear doors, tailgates and liftgates with no problems.

I always used Create Banner Assemblies for the stands, but always printed my own banner inserts. They have very good templates for download to set up your artwork correctly; they also print if you do not have that capability.

I was using the "beta version" for months and I loved it where I worked before. Don't have any Graphtecs at the new place. It was very accurate.

Lots of good info posted in this thread. I've found that with canvas prints due to the texture of the paper; a much poorer quality photo than you think will turn out excellent. 100-150dpi is great, 75 ppi will be fine, even printed some at around 50ppi before and they looked surprisingly good.

MANY different things can cause banding on mimakis... post up photos!
