When I did this (pain in the butt) MS Word stuff in the past, I would save the art as a RGB JPEG, then put a new "text box" into the document and place the art into that text box. then put a text box below that for them to edit to type their text into.

For ready to go kits, I've also always used Restylers Choice. The knifelss tape and Avery/3M solid color wrap film materials can work miracles also.

GFP all the way! I LOVED the GFP at the last shop I worked for; it had all the best features of all the other models. The heat assist is very nice and the takeup reel is worth its weight in gold. other than that, it just worked perfect everytime. We have a Seal here, a lot less impressive.

If you can't make the leap to all digital files yet, a very simple solution lets me find jobs/quotes easily from all of the paperwork we have here. Just print your quote/order form on a different color of paper. I got that hint off of here on signs101 btw!

You are cutting before the ink has finished outgassing. How long did you wait after printing before you cut these? Do you have a de-gassing apparatus?

My only real complaint is that the photos on the rear doors don't go to the edges of the doors.

I could not find a template of this exact bus model, so I drew this one up from photos taken by our sales person. It is set up at 1/20 scale, but may not be 100% perfect... I was only going off of certain measurements provided and doing the rest to scale tracing the photos, but it should work...

Sorry! I completely misread what you wanted to do.... that's a sunburst, not a starburst. I don't know of a way to do a "perfect starburst" like you're wanting.

You can use the dashed line tool on the object's stroke in Illustrator to achieve this. The only hang-up could be the distance between the initial point and last point; otherwise that will get you where you want to be.

The truck arrived today, for anyone's future information, a print of 52"x72" will cover the hood. Maximum vertical height of a logo on the hood should be around 32-36".
