yes good call they material sometimes sticks and causes a big mess
also when you print use high quality it will take longer but you get a better print on the static
i have noticed on the standard print you get more banding
i get it from fellers also
i use the solvex clear and white(least expensive and it works good)
if it is and inside decal you print it backwards and then you may have to laminate white vinyl to it for opacity or if you silk screen you can flood the sheets
either way just make sure not to cover...
if the lamination and the vinyl are the same sizes i don't use the craft paper
and it works good
i have a different laminator but i had the same problem
my gerber edge ahs a line that runs through all my prints
down the middle of the 15" width about .008"-.010" thick
not much but enough to ruin your decals
print head bad right?
can i fix it or is it a tech job?
do you have the cleaning fluid cartridges did you run them through thesystem
maybe the clog was not in the print head or maybe some sort of sensor problem
from the cartridge area
just guessing here at things to check also did you try roland tech support
good luck
you make it
make your cut line /stroke
them open the swatches window and select new swatch
double click and change the name to "CutContour" and change from rpocess to spot color
and you are good to go
(who did you get your printer from? they should have shown you this or is this a test,

we are going to the show in ac hunting for uv printers
haven't narrowed it down yet but i know we want white ink capabilities
i have heard a couple of stories as far as beds not being strong enough
for the materials and the feeder going off track
we have 6ft x 8ft main table, laminator at the end and ez cut on the side
also a 2..5ft x 16ft counter for our gerber edge both with shelves underneath
could use another big table
both are made from plywood and we glued formica(or something close)
to the tops and sides
working good so far...
we have been looking to do the uv thing for the past few years
still can't spare that kind of money on the machine
$90000 and up for the units we would need to get
need white ink and maybe clear also the way thins are going now
would want flat bed and roll to roll capability
also have to...
if you didn't find it yet
i think lexedge is just a gerber product which doesn't come 48"
but if you just need a solvent pritable lexan or polycarbonate
try ge polymer shapes or peidmont plastics they sell all kinds of sheeted plastics
we use them for all our silk screen material and some...
not sure if this is it, just throwing ideas out
but did you check all your cut lines to make sure
there are no breaks any where in the artwork
maybe the cut line has an open segment and part is not
a cut line
we just get ours from sign supply usa
i assume they are roland blades but either way we cut alot of vinyl
and some floor graphics
sp300 2 years old only changed blade two times
vp540 1 .5 years old only changed one time
