  6. Atlantic City Sign Show.....................

Brizzles is the shiz.... Too bad the show is effectively down to 5 aisles. It's a shame how the best show in the country has gone so far down hill.
  7. LG pulling out of the US

That's a shame, some of it's pretty good especially on the latex printers.
  8. Fed up & need to vent

Both us (Typestries/Weprintyouprofit.com) and Bill from Wyld grand are in NJ and happy to help. We print and ship full color coros every day Thanks Gene for the props.
  9. Jumping on the HP Latex bandwagon

Had one for just about a year, it's the best 54-60" printer platform yet (in 10 years), and we have had a converted CJ500, 2 arizona 180's (80k each) 2 HP9k's 30K each and a colorspan at 79k. At 12,5k or so this thing is AMAZING. We have a second unit coming soon. And a 3meter latex not far after.
  10. vutek RFID question (3rd party ink)

fwiw on the gandi's you can turn off the lamps with 2 mouse clicks and still print. feel free to pm me specific q's if need be if you need application specific type questions answered.
  11. Hellllllllllllllllllllllllo Winter!

Another jealous snow lover. We'll be making turns and riding the sleds in no time. Winter is playtime for our family. My son's friends play snowboarding on the wii every weekend, we head out to the mountain and do snowboarding every weekend. Wouldn't have it any other way.
  12. Banners on HP L25500

Rubbing alcohol takes latex ink off quite well. On any substrate. If it does not take it off, it will at least ruin your print. Period. Not pleased with that.
  13. New Script coming soon.

Love it! Let us know when it's ready! You spelled Registration with an extra e though.
  14. HP 25500 for Heat press

We have been printing the Fellers heat transfer material for a client with no issues. It works fine on both ends. They just sent in some of the Rtape version, looks and feels the same, and we anticipate it to work as well.
  15. Bowing/ Smiling In Print l25500

Odd, we don't have that problem at all. Just about 12 months on the machine. 100k sq ft printed. Print 4 things primarily on that machine, 3651, 180c and jetflex. We're thrilled with it, and ready to add another one.
  16. Boat Transom Distortion?

Hey cliff-hope all is well! You still have your 1224? Quick and easy way to do this-transfer tape the entire transom, sharpie out the outline of the gunwales, keel, rubrail, rudder, etc. Then peel the tape, attach it to a wall, take a photo of it, scale the photo out, and layout over the photo...
  17. HP L25500 printer head bad, REALLY?

These are low, for us at least. We have gone well over 10k% used, which coincidentally coincides mathematically 1:1 with mL used. HP typical.
  18. Best Flatbed?

CWB- LMAO, us too. I once had the owner and comptroller of one of the large distributors show up unannounced right after the USSC show. They came in all huffy, proclaiming that we're costing them money sending stuff back, who do we think we are, this is the sign business, no panel is perfect...
  19. Turning big ball finials on my wood lathe.

The ball caps are nice, but John's right, that bench is really sweet!
  20. Two new vector-based, retro inspired wraps, and a question on solid color printing

Funny you should ask- for the first time we just had 2 panels-120" long, be off by 3/8" ! First time this has happened since we got the thing in december. Luckily we had taped up the panels pre sticking them down and found out. We tweaked the install a bit and it worked out fine, but frustrating...
