A dozen tines a year I get a call about lamacoids. Some of the inquiries are from close clients that have large orders that they offer me.
Wondering if should:
1) Find a Canadian Supplier that can give wholesale pricing.- Suggestions are welcomed.
2) Invest in a machine and learn something new.I...
I have an EPS File of a hedge that I bought online.
When I drag it into Flexi it freezes up because it's too big.
Can I make it smaller?
I'm not worried about losing some of the quality.
I have Adobe Illustrator and Corel, but not well versed in either.
What does a corn dog icon supposed to represent?
I know it's off topic, but really, this thread went from a rant/ sob story to an argument over latex / solvent versus sign brokers ruining the business, so I figure it's as good as a place as any to ask that corn dog question.
Anyone?
This is a low-tech post, and most likely obvious to most, but in case it isn't- ransom ware will destroy anything that is plugged into the computer when it hits- external hard drives included. Please make sure that they are unplugged when not doing backup.
I'd be very surprised if that's old stock if it's just 751 white from a supplier.
Any chance that someone used a pressure washer to clean those when you were done?
Because if you imagine sweeping with a wand from left to right then back again as you go down the surface it screams pressure washer...
It certainly doesn't, even if the entire printer burst into flames at this point.
But- would a bad head print the cyan perfectly and the black badly?
Or is that the sign of another issue?
So I had another thread started about my Roland SP300V Print head issues.
With the help from a couple of wonderful peeps here, I got a little further in my problem solving:
But...
Now I've got 3 colours what looks like perfect test prints. Except for the black.
I'm wondering if my Blue is...
So I checked the seal on the captop as suggested. It seemed to seal and suck ink through to the Y connector.
I crossed the cables over at the heads from the M/Y to the B/C and it prints black and cyan. See attached. So I'm guessing it's something else.- But I'm still sure I need a new head- But...
I actually DID purge the manifold and head with cleaner with a syringe. The fluid squirted out the head quite easily- Again, this was just in desperation and I didn't expect a miracle- just hoped for one. If it printed lousy again, I would be ordering up a new head with confidence tomorrow, but...
I soaked the head in cleaning solution, and I got some fluid on the board, but thought I dried it off quite well before re-installing.
When I switched the cables, some black came through though- but not a lot.
Really stumped.
I'm thinking of ordering a new head, dampers, and a manifold. Just...
So I tried it, then it printed some black, but barely. just a few specs.
Test print only showed maybe a dozen or so nozzles firing.
Switched the cables back- no black at all.
So does this mean the head is shot AND I have wiring issues?
When this all started I only had fuzzy lines on my black prints.
