Whoa....that's a lot. Did you ever look into SignVox? It is what we use...not perfect by any means but we make it work. It's nice having little to no paperwork floating around. Just the occasional sketch or whatever printout the customer brought in.

I could see an issue with 651 on 751....cal on cast, or vice versa. Cast on cast shouldn't do anything.

Well I just went in to the router settings and DHCP is on, of course, but had a starting number of 192.168.0.1. I set it to start at ....100, but kept my printer's IP as a lower number (.30 in this case). Seems to be ok for now....we'll see. I assume it won't touch that since it is below range.

That's the problem with Flexi. They still haven't perfected the sign designing aspect of it.

I have done all that. I have always set it manually. I have changed the IP address to several open addresses. Something is happening that is not only changing the IP address, but also the Default Gateway. Subnet never has changed. And the default gateway seems to get changed to the what the IP...

Anyone shed some light on why I keep losing connection to my printer, and why every time I check my IP settings, they have changed? Either the IP address changes, or the default gateway changes, on its own. I am at a loss. I can't print anything because when I do, the print starts, and then...

Gotta remember too....while you are printing on perf, colors may look lighter or a little washed out, but once you put the print on the window/glass/whatever, they darken up since you are only seeing 50% of the image (or more if using 60/40 or 70/30).

I hear ya....I am having shoulder and neck issues, probably due to this. But I can't see using any device like this, simply because I have to change rolls out so often. The WORST is the 61" x 150 yard 13 oz banner roll...YIKES. THAT needs 2 people till at least 3/4 through the roll.

I use a simple calculator. X * Y / 144. Preeeeetty simple.

I don't get why you want the recessed letters to show.... I would simply cover it and wrap instead of fussing over it.
