  1. HP DesignJet Z6100 for banners?

Good printer if you like to laminate everything you print.
  2. Best Efficiency Improving Tips for your Sign Shop

Whoa....that's a lot. Did you ever look into SignVox? It is what we use...not perfect by any means but we make it work. It's nice having little to no paperwork floating around. Just the occasional sketch or whatever printout the customer brought in.
  3. The HP Latex 260, the worst printer

Put in L26500 61" instead, you should get the 12.xxxxxx download.
  4. Soccer Background

I would tell the customer you have to design it and there's a design fee. If they don't wanna pay that then kindly ask them to provide artwork. Pretty simple.
  5. Contour cutting only the contour not the design within

Not sure I understand, but it sounds like you somehow have applied the Contour Cut outline color to your design objects. You need to go through all your design elements and make sure they have no outline (or at lease no outline that is designated as the Contour Cut outline). It should then only...
  6. Mini Cooper Minecraft Wrap - Just completed

When I did this Cars movie themed Viper, we were worried about the legality of it. It is a personal vehicle, and he primarily did it for his kids, so I don't even know if it is all still on there. But fun to do anyway. I recreated ALL the fake brand logos myself, based on a sticker book the...
  7. Looking for some emergency advice

So lesson learned, I hope. Printed air release vinyl for anything that big on a vehicle. I would not have used cut vinyl.
  8. The HP Latex 260, the worst printer

If only he was talking about a 300 series....sigh....
  9. Oracal 751 and 951 cast vinyl compatability

I could see an issue with 651 on 751....cal on cast, or vice versa. Cast on cast shouldn't do anything.
  10. Losing connection to L26500

Well I just went in to the router settings and DHCP is on, of course, but had a starting number of 192.168.0.1. I set it to start at ....100, but kept my printer's IP as a lower number (.30 in this case). Seems to be ok for now....we'll see. I assume it won't touch that since it is below range.
  11. Flexi 10.5.1 Have been using it for 3 years and Text Follow is VERY unstable

That's the problem with Flexi. They still haven't perfected the sign designing aspect of it.
  12. double sided magnetics? is it possible?

Originally Posted by royster13 Do these go on the same place each time?......If so, apply magnetic material to the machine and then make a 2 sided metal applique.... Way to repeat what he said!
  13. Losing connection to L26500

I have done all that. I have always set it manually. I have changed the IP address to several open addresses. Something is happening that is not only changing the IP address, but also the Default Gateway. Subnet never has changed. And the default gateway seems to get changed to the what the IP...
  14. Losing connection to L26500

Anyone shed some light on why I keep losing connection to my printer, and why every time I check my IP settings, they have changed? Either the IP address changes, or the default gateway changes, on its own. I am at a loss. I can't print anything because when I do, the print starts, and then...
  15. L360 Profiling window perf?

Gotta remember too....while you are printing on perf, colors may look lighter or a little washed out, but once you put the print on the window/glass/whatever, they darken up since you are only seeing 50% of the image (or more if using 60/40 or 70/30).
  16. Loading rolls by meyself becoming an issue, looking for inexpensive solution

I hear ya....I am having shoulder and neck issues, probably due to this. But I can't see using any device like this, simply because I have to change rolls out so often. The WORST is the 61" x 150 yard 13 oz banner roll...YIKES. THAT needs 2 people till at least 3/4 through the roll.
  17. little program to figure square footage

    I use a simple calculator. X * Y / 144. Preeeeetty simple.
  18. Help with Font

    Thanks!
  19. Help with Font

Found a few close, but not quite it.
  20. Question on how to wrap this area.

I don't get why you want the recessed letters to show.... I would simply cover it and wrap instead of fussing over it.
