  1. Flexi 12 Issues Opening old files

I was able to create a new file and import the PSD's no problem. But it would not import the same files while in the OLD file. Makes no sense...I guess some profile info saved in the old file prevents them from importing? I just keep dreaming that someday Flexi will be glitch free.
  2. Flexisign with GeForce or Quadro?

Commonly misstated info regarding adding a SSD...it does NOT boost computer speed. It reads and writes data faster, but will have no impact on the OP's issue at hand, which sounds like graphics rendering. Beefier video card is the way to go for this issue.
  3. Flexi 12 Issues Opening old files

Actually I can not import the files. They come in looking the same as this....GOOD GRIEF
  4. Flexi 12 Issues Opening old files

This is a file from less than a year ago. Just upgraded to 12 about a month ago. Now when I open older Flexi files that have bitmap images in them, they appear corrupted. This is perfect example. Anyone else experiencing this? I will have to reimport all the images and save a new file. This is...
  5. Using Pvc for hanging sign

Skip PVC altogether and use HDU.
  6. Is this going to work? (Window Perf Question)

Use a 70/30 if they want less light to shine through. Should be fine.
  7. Avery Etchmark??

We only use Oracal 8510 Silver Grey. It is a little thicker than others, and is very forgiving when installing. Large graphics we use rapid tac, any small stuff you can do dry with no issues.
  8. Keep cut jobs from deleting in production mgr

More specifically, set this under Default Job Settings in Production Manager....so it's always set that way.
  9. L360 and printing on chrome vinyl...is it possible?

Your colors will be terrible, other than black, on a non-white vinyl. I would print on white, contour cut and then apply to the chrome.
  10. Need a recommendation on software I should use for graphic design and other...

Perhaps you meant 'glutton'. Gluten is something the health nuts avoid.
  11. Any Idea on these numbers?

    Highway C
  12. Vinyl Express Qe60+ blade help

For sure that's a Roland blade...and it looks already worn.
  13. how to know if I received the right phototex version

That's the stuff then. Forgot the adhesive was sorta grey on the opaque. I love using this stuff, but it has a hard time on even lightly textured walls. Doesn't conform as well as the old stuff.
  14. how to know if I received the right phototex version

It should feel thicker and very little light should show through. It isn't totally opaque, but will cover any color without it bleeding through. Should say OPAS I believe.
  15. L25500 print quality issues

You didn't mention what Pass you print these on. Lower pass (like under 8) will always create banding I have found. When I need solid-solid, I use 10 pass. With a correct profile I have seen no evidence of banding, in solid blues, blacks, reds, etc...
  16. Anyone else having registration mark read problems after upgrading to 12?

I only use Manual/4 point registration and have seen no change since upgrading.
  17. Which brand of printable wrap vinyl do you prefer and/or avoid? 3M, Orajet, Arlon?

Only use 3M 180-CV3 here...That Oracal has very aggressive adhesive and hard to work with IMO. Never used Arlon. Avery's wrap vinyl used to be my go to, but got kinda crappy for a while.
  18. wall mounted acrylic with hidden hardware

How big are the panels? And thickness? We typically use cleats if customer wants no mounting to be seen.
  19. Pause Between Print and Cut With VersaWorks?

It's in VW settings when you set up the job. Hit the Printer Controls tab and click Other Controls - Custom Settings, and set a Dry Time.
  20. Jeep Hood Decal & Wheel Decal

That doesn't look like a decal on the wheel...looks like it was implemented in to the powder coating. Maybe I'm wrong.
