that's either a print head, damper, or profile.
Try the same image on a different profile and see what happens.
If it's still acting up look into the dampers or a head.
I change mine every couple years. As long as ink flows through it you don't need to change it. Mine gets an ink build up and the ink hardens on the top of the sponge preventing drainage.
Unscrew the side and pull it out. There is also a t-sponge that goes into the drain tube. (at...
If you're not going through three to four full sets of ink a month, it's not worth it.
I save a lot of money by using Solaris Bulk ink. Best ink I've ever used. It takes a little while to dry compared to OEM, but it's great. Gentle on the machine and has way better color than other...
I tried the panel tool in VW with little to no luck. I feel like I don't have enough control over this feature.
I cut out the panels with overlap in PS and have been doing so for years.
I have to add bleeds and small extensions onto banners that I weld, which VS cannot do, another reason...

I'm old school I guess. I don't really see a need for cloud service.
I find it funny how the term "cloud" has been coined and now these old services have a new trendy sheen to them.
Not a fan.
that is a good one! i like it.
Also, my tech run christmas tinsel on the back side of the printer along the media. Grounds it chassis. He swears but it.
I rarely have static problems. I have a bulletin about static with Rolands. It's a known issue for sure.
When you changed the damper you got ink on one of the head circuits causing it to blow.
The head board then blew a transistor and then the fuse blue on the headboard.
So, now you need to replace one head, the transistor and fuse. You'll be back in business.
This is a common problem...
It is the transistor on the print head board. Mac media can rebuild it for 200 dollars. well worth it.
Out of those two heads, has one been acting up? Drop outs, head strike, banding?
I feel your pain. I just replaced the bearings on my roland then of course I had a head strike yesterday.
No bank C. Looks like a new head and headboard rebuild.
This is a 3k week.
Hate to bring up and old thread, but I like to keep service current on the Roland machines.
I run a 745ex. The machine is five years old.
Both the top bearing rails on the bearing blocks blew out yesterday. I was on the horn with Roland all day trying to secure a new carriage...
