    I was just wondering why not clearcoat first, then mask and paint? That would solve any bleed issues and your mask won't pull up any fibers.....tho with maple I don't think it would be a problem. I LOVE Catalpa!!! I saw your site.......nice carvings! Your business is certainly not a one...

    Signmeup, There is a huge market for quality house signs. All you need is an efficent process and price em high enough to make your shop rate......don't be bashfull. Remember......there are a LOT more home owners than business owners and they WILL pay the price for something that beautifies...

    Skyhigh, The Moore Glo is a bit thicker......doesn't flow as well as the Aura. I use a fine roller to paint the faces and with the Glo, I can raise a fine stipple. I call it my "bright texture" finish......sorta reminds one of smalts. The Aura flows better so it 's tough to get the same...
