First of all, is that their logo? Do they need a logo? Looks like a logo-ized layout to me, and not legible or effective. It looks like 3 separate looks with nothing to bind them together.... It usually starts with the logo, and interpreting the message/copy and prioritizing correctly.

I probably would have done the same thing.... My contract says all artwork will be provided on a CD, past that they will be billed hourly with a minimum of one hour for any replaced artwork. I don't always charge that, but it covers my butt if I have a client who routinely loses it or hires out...

On design work, I usually release artwork because I get paid enough to, and I don't fabricate or print anything, so I have to release it anyways... I would not be too surprised of your work shows up on Susie Q's website either...

The mountain options look like various piles of something... Clean, crisp lines... think prudential logo... not piles of ca-ca The type is too stylized on the left, way too thin (and stylized) and the right and no balance. Try a thick typeface and a medium typeface... mix it up.

These "affordable" places are a dime a dozen around here.... I have a few local places bookmarked, I'm pretty sure I have your "competitions" bookmarked too. They all have the same basic look and information. They may have the "design" speak from copy and pasting a design firms (or each others)...
