I agree. I have 2 macs. A newer powerbook and an old blue and white 400mhz G3 desktop with 512mb. 7 years old and it runs OSX, Illustrator and Photoshop CS just fine. It came with OS 8.6 when bought new. It's not my primary machine, but I will eventually also be getting one of those Intel Macs...

Just wanted to clarify I sent an actual vector file to Mr. Davis. The sample in my previous post was a jpeg preview of the quality achieved.

Most programs have an envelope or distortion tool that will allow you to do this.

I should add that you can get a 250mb or so external hard drive (usb/firewire) for $100 or less. They are much more reliable and better cost per mb I have a 250 mb one and backup my files nightly to this and also burn cds/dvds for really old stuff. 2 copies - CD's are also cheap insurance

It could also be a cs2 file, maybe your corel version won't import a file that is in that version
