If you use a lot of various laminates, especially matte, heat assist is the way to go. Makes everything look so much better, eliminating any bubbles or silvering.
Ditto on the lien. As long as you have proof of deposit and remaining balance and his signature that he agreed to those terms. Just like the auto mechanics do.
Heat, foam rollers, keep working them in until they are completely covered, then cut and slit them. I did a ton of electrical boxes for a city once. Charge accordingly for the extra time involved.
At the very least, open that low res image in Photoshop, apply a blur to it. Even though it's not a focal point, it at least isn't all jagged. I do it all the time. From 20 ft away, your eye sees what's there.
Well then ALL of my blade holders are bad....I have different ones with different blades in them....one for reflective only, one with a 60 for paint mask etc...and ANYTHING I cut in any material is bad on small scale. So that's why I think it's the belt or some other issue.
Thanks rcook....yeah the head on it is fine. And yes you can tell a difference between small (1" or less) and larger. Really weird. If I have to cut really small (like 1/2" or less) I use the plotter on our Roland. It's super precise.
Maybe that is a small letter in his particular line of work? 1" is a small letter if he normally cuts 12" letters. Man, offer a solution instead of question how he phrased his question. Lots of that on this site....really annoying.

Also.... Good luck with the grey background. I avoid them at all costs....unless you have been able to successfully get a good grey print instead of green.
Yeah.... Not masking laminated graphics is about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I do it all the time! How else could you apply print and cut graphics and lettering? I love how 3M always has stupid solutions to their manufacturing issues to make the end user look dumb. I have had so many...
