We use The Stewart Company here in Cincinnati, OH for our dies. Their number is 513-646-8949, they are quick & cheap. Round magnets can get to be a PITA, this is the best way we've found to do them though.

Customer came in with their old marketing materials for a facelift, we designed some cards/magnets & brochures for them & they loved them. They bought a "new" truck and wanted a wrap. I thought it came out great, but the tiles on the cap were a PITA.

droplets at our shop usually come from the environment - was your previous print job a banner? Those fine "hairs" around the edge of the banner & hairs picked up by static electricity as you load the media get stuck to the damp print head as it passes of the sheet & the ink spray collects on it...

I would assume he's not wrapping a globe with another image of a globe, but needs a "sinusoidal" template/instructions/converter to create an image to wrap over an existing globe for a customer. Am I reading this right? However, I cannot help you with this.

For the larger rolls we use the shipping "ends" that hold them in place in the boxes. These seem to work excellent, but the new Avery ends we received on a few rolls seem a bit more flexible/cheap, thankfully we have like 10 million of these, lol. For the 24-30" rolls we had some wall mounts...

I agree with the others, especially with you having to do on-site to remove the sign, bring it back, clean, strip, prep, paint, etc BEFORE you even get to apply the new graphics. All the while this customer is without their sign. Even just buying a new piece of plywood is going to be cheaper...
