What about an SP540? I assume the "small strips" refers to cutting a section off the roll to alleviate the weight of the magnetic material. makes sense. Seems like it could lead to a lot of waste with the leading/tail edge on the sections of material.

Couldn't you just print onto vinyl with a solvent printer? We could do them that way here, for 100 qty @ ~4"x6" we could do them for $1.10 each + shipping.

it's a lie. works fine for us long term. also, remove all old vinyl before you start. never apply new over old, as the old will just continue to deteriorate behind the new causing it to fail along with it.

Where ya at in SO Ohio? We do it in one piece easily with two people, just print a little bit bigger, get the material good & wet & apply it. With one person, lay it on straight, put tape over the middle, then fold & hinge it on there (again wet) one half at a time. We never laminate in-house...
