  1. What mac to buy??

I would get more RAM and be patient. From what I have heard form other designers CS2 runs a bit slower on the Mac/Intel than on a G4! It also crashes a lot, especially Illustrator. I heard it helps if you do not load Version Cue. You will be a lot happier with a Mac/Intel when CS3 comes...

I have to say I like the first one too, it has that handpainted charm too it. That being said, it is better Than my first sign too. You might also look into a subscription to Signcraft Magazine as well. Except for the all caps comment, I agree with most of the suggestions on the punctuation...

  11. Flexi 8 Mac

With the switch to Intel and the developement of Leopard and Universal apps it's no wonder why it's delayed. Considering that Adobe CS3 will not be ready until summer of 07 at the earliest, I don't see how Flexi can get done any sooner. I have delayed in getting an Intel Mac until CS3 is out.

  15. What programs do you Guys Recommend

Corel or Illustrator will work fine...I prefer Illustrator with CadTools myself, (www.hotdoor.com) Corel is a cheaper alternative and already has scale and drafting tools built into it. Illy with CadTools has more options and multiple scale using layers.

"APPLIANCE" " REFRIGERATION REPAIR" is definitley Frutiger Black...that cursed ampersand and phone number I should know, but maybe I'm too tired to remember
  17. Photoshop Question

I personally think it's easier doing all your frames in layers in Illustrator for a flash animation or copy and paste the layers into Photoshop and make an animated gif from that. The animation you are thinking of doing may be a little too much for your first shot but it's easy to adjuust it in...

  20. Using Router for Braille

I've never had any luck using the whole table since the tolerance for drilling for the raster beads is so tight. I pre-cut the blanks using a router table. Then make a score line on the sacrificial peice for the size sign I was doing, then do the signs one at a time, one blade at a time usually...
