We sub out all the big jobs. Big is defined by square footage or 100's of units. Our printer gets used for rush jobs and small runs. This includes t-shirts.
Boils down to this: Do you want to lock down a client then babysit the printer, cut the substrate, laminate, install to substrate...
I politely refused the job. Client was sent a concise email detailing why it was not a good idea.(talked to 3M about it too) I said I'd rather have them angry with us for not doing the job then having it fail 6 months after installation.
My rep relayed this little nugget: In many...
My 0.02 cents. There are simple things to check and I don't think the techs know how to do them. One is called tramming. It would require some disassembly of the machine and precision mandrels, but would be worth a shot. Others would be nip force and web tension. The latter can create havoc...
I see lots of deflection and drops.(drops are blank areas) This leads to banding.
It may be time for a new head, but what ink are you using? My foray into 3rd party inks caused issues not unlike what you're seeing. We went back to OEM after an expensive rehab session. No issues since.
It's a toss up between Comic Sans and Papyrus.

Got a request to bid out 30+ rear truck windows for an emergency service. They want reflective window perf.
I've spent a good deal of time searching the 'net and here and haven't found anything. Except that it's a PITA because it won't lay flat and it doesn't print well.
Besides the only...
Love our Eco-Print. Mike Koval recommended it and we haven't looked back.
Imprintables Warehouse customer service is super too.(even with my dumb questions)
You're better off buying it from a licensed dealer. Limited license is $2500 IIRC.
Hope your client likes repeats every couple feet in both directions. That style camo was meant for clothing only.
Go to auroragraphics.net and look at the Bush Wolf camo.:thumb:
We use OnOne Perfect Resize with great results. But it's just like Sightline said GIGO.(garbage in garbage out) If I take pics with my DSLR I've pushed them 1000% with decent results.
For small jobs and trying to get bigger jobs we use the heat press with Eco-Print. Large orders(25+) we sub out to a screen printer.
Having the capability to heat press has been a good sales tool for us.
