  1. Sign Rails

J-channel for hanging mirrors. No fabrication involved and it comes in many exciting colors.(lol) Works a treat.
  2. Logo for cooling/refridgeration company

I agree with HDvinyl and Marlene.
  3. Trailing cable assembly

    Here: http://www.extremeinkjet.com/Roland_versacamm_sp300_and_SP540_s/63.htm
  4. Matching a vehicle color?

What are you trying to do? Match interior pieces like the dash? If so remove the pieces and paint. If the dash is steel use a base/clear system. You can spray vinyl to match with special paint/dye. Not that big of a deal. More time doing the R and R then anything. For flat surfaces you...
  5. 2006 Northriver Seahawk Stock Decals

Gravy. Get a halfway decent profile pic and use the pen tool in Illy. Only do this if they can't be had from the mfg. We are in the process of doing graphics similar to what the factory did on an old boat. Boat shop called the factory to order a set, and they said we haven't done those in...
  6. Carbon Fiber Vinyl

We've had good success with the 1080 series from 3M.
  7. Looking for large camo files...don't want to tile.

X2 on Phototec's post. 95 bucks is a smokin' deal. You will spend more time(money) creating your own than buying a file ready to rock. You will wast even more time trying to find a "deal". Final note: If 95 bucks is a deal breaker it's time to quit.
  8. U.S. patent office cancels Redskins trademark registration

In 82 years of franchise history this was never an issue? I'm really curious.
  9. Which Line Do I Follow? Police Car Graphics

On many late model vehicles I take my time and make one side visually correct. If it looks good it is good. Then I take out the tape and measure the visually correct install for successive sides/vehicles. With so many cars devoid of any straight lines it's what works best for me. Clients...
  10. Just got this beauty in today.

Odd thing is bashing a business doesn't work like that. Ever hear the phrase: Ya can't tell nobody nuthin'. I have seen this thousands of times in my life. Someone asks about a business, you quote chapter and verse using factual information why they shouldn't go there and guess what...
  11. Just got this beauty in today.

Print, laminate, install, collect check. Smile and wave as another satisfied customer drives away.
  12. Trump + Sign = TASTELESS

Trump is the target du jour. They don't like his sign, but they sure like his money. I wholeheartedly agree with Mr. Sjoquist.
  13. Any Monitor Recommendations?

    X2 on IPS monitors.
  14. Sending Alumalite Through a Seal Laminator

We affectionately call those "Widder" Makers. (spent 26 years in a fab shop and saw some ugly stuff)
  15. Stencil Help

We'd charge per square foot for that. Otherwise I'd project it on the wall and have at with brushes.(50 feet and 50 mile an hour rule applies here) I'm no sign painter, but picked up some pointers working with one off and on for a couple years. Just have to cut everything in when its dark.
  16. Everyone is a designer these days

For 15 shirts I'd run Eco-Print through the Roland, heat press and collect a check. Good design is a beautiful thing, but a fat bank account is infinitely better.
  17. Matte Black Reflective

Could be exclusive to Ford. When you order miles of vinyl at a time they'll make whatever you want. You might try a matte laminate over black reflective. Went down this road with a motor coach some years ago. RV manufacturers spec their own color palettes. So I talked to a rep. He said...
  18. Opinion about a food truck.

Do a bright wrap to attract attention. Then rivet some J-channel on both sides of the vend window(one open side) to hold coro signs with various food items. When he gets on site he can decide what panel(s) to slide in.
  19. high resolution backgrounds

I'd build it in Photoshop. By the time you find that "perfect" background, and tweak the "perfect" background to your needs you could have one finished in Ps. Just build it piece by piece. You'd be surprised how easy it is when you build one layer on the next. Best part is you will have...
  20. Looking for a good Chiseled font

I looked at the disc I have and it's MR Chisel Fonts. Bought it years ago when I was doing stock cars. Not sure if they're around anymore. May want to check Sign DNA. They have a bunch of prismatic fonts.
