SDS's Rock. If you don't own one you should. Hammer Drills will sometimes cut it, but if it's precast concrete, there's just no comparison.
To me it sounds like you really need to find someone to help you. 18' in the air without a spotter or just an extra set of hands sounds like a death wish -...
HIPS - High impact polystyrene. Not rated for long term outdoor use. Will yellow and get brittle of time when exposed to sunlight (UV). More consistent surface and easier to print on. A greater range of inks will bond with styrene. Generally very smooth and flat.
HDPE - High density...
Both UV Screen and Digital ink can have the problem with app tape. All printed coro should be able to get wet though.
We have this issue from time to time with dark blue screen inks for some reason. All UV inks (Screen or Digital) have an issue printing on Coro (Polypropylene). (That's part of...
FireSprint Printing is a growing sign printer and we need your help! Our position is for a digital printing/finishing specialist for 30-55 hours a week. Immediate availability. Good mechanical aptitude and a knowledge of graphic software such as Illustrator are required. Sign printing experience...
It's out there. It's the natural color of polypropylene without any pigment in it. It's not really clear, a little closer to something like frosted glass.
4x8 sheets will be tough if you can't find a local supplier.
You might also consider fluted polycarbonate. That can be purchased at...
We are a dues paying Merchant Member here and would love to bid it, but need more detail. Can you please email support@firesprint.com with size, colors, finishing options, shipping address, etc. We'll get you a quote right away.
Thanks!
We have a store called menards here that you can get clear polycarbonate corrugated plastic. It's commonly used in greenhouses. You might check with building supply stores. If it needs to be white, you could put a layer of translucent vinyl down (even on the back side if you wanted)
The...
Digital prints won't hold up for long term. Cut vinyl or screen print is the way to go on aluminum. That's a pretty big job to have handed back to you in a few years when the reds and yellows have faded.
Even most screen inks don't last more than 2-4 years in direct sun. There are pretty...
Anyone know where I can get a roll of fluorescent banner material? Specifically red, but any supplier that you know of that sells it would be great.
Thanks!
We use this - http://www.menards.com/main/home-decor/office-supplies/adhesives-tape/painters-tape/painters-mate-green-1-41-x-60-yd-8-day-painting-tape-4-pk/p-1444442302471-c-7185.htm?tid=5657574922947353962
It regularly goes on sale for $9.97/pack and we stock up then.
We screen and digitally print it all the time. We can also route it to custom shapes. Some sizes are in our catalog at www.firesprint.com. Keep in mind our catalog is retail coded for your protection, but we are a trade only supplier. We can quote other sizes too. Please send your quote request...
That's a good point. You could cut the graphic out to size but square and then cut from the center of the square.
Alot of overprocessing probably but it could work.
