  1. Quick, simple, effective marketing ideas?

The easiest cheapest thing I've ever done is to facepaint (free) at festivals. Usually as a member of the C of C but not always. Also have ridden in many a parade in my shop truck & passed out candy. I participate in the charity pinstripers auction downtown and have a stack of bizcards handy...
  2. I've run out of gas on this one

Now I think I like it better without the second logo in the background. :)
  3. Ronan Aquacote

I've used it and it was great. Providing they haven't changed their formula since 2002. I had a bunch left over from a meet and had a job that week, on an oil tanker (stainless) I used the white, using a Foamie of all things, and it looks as good today as it did in 2002 It was thinner than...
  4. I've run out of gas on this one

Definitely the second one. Now it looks like a pub sign.
  5. Before/After planning stages

Darn it Bob you had to go and submit that idea after I already showed the last version to the minister. Which he approved immediately...knock me over with a feather. I may try to add your twist to it though. GB the reason for the non-alphabetical list was that I was trying to do it the way...
  6. Happy Birthday Jon!!!

You spin me right round! Have a great day Jon and thanks for all you do. Love....Jill PS HB2 Ryan Ursta as well.
  7. Before/After planning stages

I added the AM on the first one to try to let people know they are all morning services. Will make adjustments, I need to get this sent along. I'll use the others as back ups. :)
  8. I've run out of gas on this one

I for once totally agree with OP. By just switching the pink pinkstripes to process blue, it will pop like crazy. Love....Jill
  9. what is this business coming to

Bravo, Tater. You too, Dan & Dan. Love....Jill
  10. Before/After planning stages

OK this is the latest attempt. I have taken suggestions from everyone and tried to combine everything. How's this one? :thankyou:
  11. Before/After planning stages

Now my gears are turning again! Thanks for the great suggestions. Tiki's really has a "churchy" feel. And I do have some Celtic knots in my PC from an old sign so I can try implementing those too. Drove past the church again, the windows are definitely different than the ones I was using so...
  12. Shop Dog Molly has left us

May she rest in peace, bless her heart. Losing a beloved dog is very hard. My nephew had to put down his boxer today too. Love....Jill
  13. Before/After planning stages

Gypsy the three panels make a triangle shape (birds eye view) Just back from a fall festival where they were actually selling wine. Durrrrr All points taken may drive down to the church (tomorrow) for an in-depth look at the windows. Providing the roof doesn't fall in of course. :)
  14. Before/After planning stages

They may not like the SBC removal, but I can add it if they ask. I have to put it on everything I do for them. Here it is with green (I like green or purple equally, both ar far less Satanic!) I made the colored panel just in the middle to de-emphasise the other panels. The mission...
  15. Before/After planning stages

OK this is from today after two cups of coffee. The actual windows have a lot of purples, and purple is a somewhat regal color so I tried that, and only on one "window" shape. There is also a lot of green in the church windows too but haven't tried that yet. I tried the arrows on the other...
  16. Finished Alley Mural

Boy did that ever turn out swell. I absolutely love it. Not only is it technically eye-pleasing and great looking, it has all those special little details that make you want to keep on looking. Bravo. Love....Jill
  17. Before/After planning stages

I am really appreciating all the help. This is one of those jobs I was excited to get, then I overthought it and got burned out even before I started. Here's another try, with South Butler abbreviated (gasp) and Adrian's gothic window suggestion. It might be too red looking but I think it's...
  18. Before/After planning stages

It is a nice church. It's really nice inside too. I like Doug's idea about the arrows. May have to change South Butler County to SBC even though I hate initials because it's screwing up my nice neat line now. Any better?
  19. Before/After planning stages

Here's a pic of the church snagged off the www. You can see the existing sign too. The sign panels have white aluminum pieces bent around them.
  20. New Sign (need help with layout)

I don't know jack about installation, but this looks like something where Dibond would be a nice choice (or Alumalite, a PA product, but that has the flutes) I know there are all kinds of fancy standoffs out there. What if the Y logo thing was on some sort of plexiglass with brushed stainless...
