I guess you don't have a full working version of Acrobat? I always save them as tif files from Acrobat as I have found that flexi sometimes jumbles or loses pdf info.

I have those gloves too, but I wear them backwards because the black dot grippers mark up the vinyl worse than my hands.

make sure it is either ungrouped or unmasked. Make sure it is a vectored file...I have seen many genius designers make vector art from bitmaps...not!!!

I do a lot more solid colour work and that is where the issues show the most. Tried the 360 x 720 with good results. If I use that I will assume I use less ink? if this were true how much over the course of time would you really save?

If it has only happened once I would suppose the printer just got locked up. I wouldn't worry about it if it is the only time it has happened. A shame that the print is wasted though.

First off are your lights working for "heat " and "Constant"? if they are then go to the back of the machine and feel the platten it will be pretty warm. I would also just do a test and put the heat way up to 60 just to see if the machine waits to warm up. The printer can be set at a default...
