... We all use the #11 blade. I only get mine in 100 packs from Pincover Industrial Supply. As far as a blade holder, X-acto is junk. I found a great stainless steel blade holder that weighs about 3x as much as a hollow one, and I swear by it...

This stuff is very impressive. I'm using 30ft of the Blue on a current project and am very pleased. Anybody else take the risk on this stuff? A few in progress pics:

And I can't for the life of me figure out where it goes. This is a small spring that holds the sheet cut blade up in the carriage. Any help?

Dually Noted, Kerning sucks. Sometimes I get too wrapped up in the other details. I set the kerning in Illy to Optical from Automatic, and didn't take notice that last R way over there. haha. Luckily 1 person in 1,000 will notice that.

Tape up paper. Trace lines. Tape to flat wall. Take pictures and measurements. Digitize this and create graphics. Install.

Why buy blanks when you can get printed 13oz. hemmed and grommeted for under $1sq.ft.?

$6 per sq.ft. for one color on white background. $7 per sq.ft. for two color on white background. $8 per sq.ft. for full color. Hem, grommets, and 15 minutes of design time included. I sell them on the free design, and make it look good quick, Then I order from 777sign.com for $0.69 per sq.ft...

If they are portrait, you need to rotate the front 90 degrees clockwise, and the back 90 degrees counter. They reprinted 5,000 rack cards for me but I learned. How they print them, they don't flip over the axis your hand flips them.

I usually just take a few pictures and measurements. Here is a basic one color I did a few weeks ago. Lots of problem areas on these.

Not sure if anybody recognizes this one. Apparently it is from dafont.com but I can't find it and whatthefont.com can't identify it. Suggestions?

Do you have a workflow for indentifying these btw? Do you run a quick mental check, then go to whatthefont.com, then try your font navigator library, then check a list of font websites like signfonts, then resort to here?

Thanks Tiki. I was able to just trace what I had. I think this one might be worth the $50, so long as I can pass the cost on and use the font later :)
