seems like it makes a huge difference where you live. our shop does both local and work for national companies so we are lucky in that we have different sources for work. there are some for lease signs around but it doesn't seem to be any more than usual. we have more little companies than...
seems like we had a thread about something like this a while back and from what I remember, if it is a photo taken by some one known to the person and the person owns the photo, it is OK. since it will be for sale, I hope anyone who remembers that thread will post just to be sure.
terrible news. he will be so missed and there never will be another like him ever to come our way. it was an honor to have had the chance to know him thru this site. )))))) rest in peace friend

I have been looking for an engraver supplier but all I have found are ones that tilt and they want these to stand up right. the Vista ones looked pretty nice but they seem small. the current panels are 2.5" x 13" so the names are pretty large and they have the college logo on all of them...
I make double sided name plates for a local college that they use when they have a conference and are sitting around a table. what I've been using is 3mm Sintra for the plate and a clear butrate sign stand from Outwater Plastics. they would now like to have a nicer looking stands. anyone know...
wow, that logo is so not a food product looking at all. Baz is right, it does look more like a used car lot which is what I thougth it was since I didn't nknow what a gelato was. now I know, it just seems like a totally wrong direction to go as it sure doesn't make me want an icy treat!
glad you understand and I think this is the first time I have ever seen a new member come back with a good, common sense response instead of calling us a pack of A'holes! Poly Plastic Forms sells foam letters really cheap and since you do make vinyl graphics and banners, you will most likely...
it looks nice.
maybe but not always. there's a painted mural at my doctor's office that just plain sucks. brush strokes and paint are OK but not everyone out there is Rembrandt. I have seen way too many murals done by "artists" that just look hell to wish for a painted mural! at least...
add in the price of a new blade as reflective chews them up. take what you would charge for cutting what ever he is wanting as if it was using your material and then take a % off that , but not the whole price of what it would be if it was your material.
well the ball with the motion looks good. why black & red? those colors just don't say golf, they say Craftsman Tools or Champion Spark Plugs. add those swooshes, change the name and ball and it would work for tools or plugs but does it really work for golf?
what kind of sign will be going up? individual letters either channel or non-illuminated? lighted cabinet? sandblasted or carved? it may be as simple as them wanting all the signs to have the same reversed radius corners as all the others (have had that come up) or thickness of wood or not...
