No I havent had it routed yet. That is a good idea, seems like it would save considerable time, but will probably cost quite a bit more to route 2 pieces rather than 1, well at least the shape for the backside piece. I'll check out the price difference.
Is there a going rate for installing this type of real estate sign? Not the cost of the sign or travel time, just the install of the sign( 2 4x4 posts 3' in the ground).
Also does anybody think my idea for the discs in post #7 is a viable option?
Have a 4x8 single sided routed 1.5" sign foam3 sign to make and install between 2 wooden 4x4 existing posts. Will be subing out the routing to our local substrate supplier, we will be painting and installing the sign. We haven't done a sign like this yet so looking for advice.
What is the...
Thanks for the responses. We didn't do the signs originally, so I don't know exactly how deep the holes are. I could move the sign back and forth easily with my hands, and I stuck a stick in the hole about 18" but figured the hole must be deeper than that. The real estate company is looking...
Have a real estate company that isn't happy with their current site signs. On windy days they sometimes blow over They are 4'x4' signs on 2 3.5" posts driven about 2-3 feet into the ground. They want us to provide them with a better solution, they have 30-40 of these signs up in our area, and...

That's what I thought too. Originally they asked for aluminum without specifics. So I gave a quote with dibond, and .080 alum and offered to provide samples and what not. Then they asked me to requote with .012. I replied that that would be paper thin and I just want to confirm that you want...
I have a request for a large run of 12"x12" .012" thick aluminum signs. I double checked and it is definitley for .012 and not .125. So these signs are going to be paper thin. Does anybody know of a good source to wholesale signs like this? My supplier doesn't carry .012 alum. and I think...
I thought I had been reading that everybody was getting sick of the new hp's, mainly becasue of having to replace print heads on a regular basis. Does anybody have any inside info on the new pro 4?
Not looking for a design critique, that is out of our hands. This sign will be installed perpindicular to a busy road. We are going to print it on reflective. Should we overlay the black text with balck cut vinyl? I think it will be hard to read at night if we don't, black seems to reflect...
