  3. Plastic razor scrapers

Greetings all! Big fan of the little plastic razor blades for removing vinyl, but not a big fan of the handles. So far, every handle we've had has broken in some way - they all seem too flimsy. So does anyone have a recommendation of a handle that's durable and will take the plastic blades? TIA

  5. Question Pull-Up Banner Issue

Looks like either faulty or wrong material, or mis-use by the user. Looking at the way it's wrinkled, it almost looks like it has been stored collapsed but not retracted ?

  7. Clean edges on cnc routed dibond

Here we use a 1/8" straight bit from Centurion Tools We run at 150ipm and 15,000 rpm. One pass, climb cut. Using climb cut, the chips of material stay in the kerf, alleviating the need for tabs, and also stick to the waste side of the cut (mostly) I'm sure others have better methods, but it...

  16. Case Color mix?

Greetings! Just wondered if anyone can help - trying to match a color for CASE equipment. It is MS42 Power Tan, just wondered if someone had perhaps done this before and could give me a CMYK mix as a starting point? Thanks in advance.
  17. Illustrator question re: exporting

For example, a file contains a logo that we need in another job. In Corel, I can select the logo, export it in a suitable format, and leave the original file intact. Then just import it into Signlab, or whatever. It seems from what I'm reading, there is no direct approach like this in...
  18. Illustrator question re: exporting

Well, that's disappointing. I really want to like Illustrator, but things like this sure don't make it easy. :(
  19. Summacut D75 question

Hi, Does anyone know - is there a way of adjusting the amount of feed after the job has cut? At the moment, the tail end of the job doesn't quite clear the slot that you can run the razor-blade trimmer along - we have to manually move it forward to clear it on each job. I can't seem to find...
  20. Need Help What material for Dimensional Letters?

I would think focusing with that kind of thickness of material would be problematic with a laser. Like others have said, a router is more useful for that kind of job. You could, of course, get into channel letters - the laser would be good for cutting out the faces.
