Are you taking the ink out and running a head wash first? Lock is best but the caps are motorized on this unit and for a short haul, you could use a nylon reinforced tape to pull the head to the far right position while using a piece of foam, cardboard or the like to space the right side gap...

What inks are being used? Is there a sticker/label inside the core of the media being used?

If this is the PhotoShop Plugin, you must have full version Adobe Photoshop installed on the computer with Flexi.
