  1. USTECH 32" Laminator???

We have a sp300v that we are moving to a different location and won't have access to our 65" laminator. So we are thinking of getting one of the US TECH 32" laminators (WORF AK-300) since the printer is a 30". Has anyone used one of these in this size? Any advice on the subject would be...
  2. TeckWrap Chrome or Avery

Anyone who is wondering about this product here is what we found. We just some basic lettering out of the blue chrome and placed it on the side of a van, within 2 months the blue color was gone and just a matte silver is left. I will add a picture when I have a chance to find it. Works fine for...
  3. What is this half-cut option called?

Olfa TS-1 Its great for low volume
  4. TeckWrap Chrome or Avery

Has anyone used TeckWrap economy chrome mirror vinyl? We have a customer who wants blue chrome decals, they know they won't hold up a real long time. They hope for about 2 years. We were going to use the blue chrome from Avery but that might be overkill for "jr high" sports decal. Any...

  6. Cutting out Oracal 975BR?

  7. Cutting out Oracal 975BR?

Anyone cutting out 975? We have a client that would like us to cut some lettering out of Oracal 975BR (090) Silver Gray (its brushed). Is there any reason this won't work or hold up? About 10"-12" tall letters, and a 7"x36" box with a few words cut in it so the background color shows through...
  8. Metallic heat transfer

We print on metallic heat transfer material with the 30" Roland (sp300v), we don't print metallic ink. Comes out great. I will see if I can post a pic of something when I am on a work PC. I would have to look to see what profile we use.
  9. Metallic heat transfer

Yes, we do it often. What kind of trouble are you having?
  10. Vinyl Express Q54 and ARMS!!!!!!

Try putting the sensor on the outside of the first mark. It should move around and find the mark and continue from there. thats where we set it and it always cuts perfect. (We have the graphtec fc8000, I think they are basicly the same though) Hopefully you get it figured out!
  11. Flexisign with GeForce or Quadro?

Changing your OS to a SSD is and will be the biggest performance increase you can get currently. We changed all of our computers over to SSD's and we would never use a spinning drive again (except for storage). In our testing and research, the samsung ssd's are great. We also have some that are...

That is very nice. Great job!
  13. vs-640i will not find registration marks for cut after laminate

If you haven't already tried, try using a black sharpie and carefully color the crop marks.
  14. Windows 10

That is the point of the like and dislike....so people know the truth. I don't do what you do and try to start trouble with people. You are just a conspiracy theory kind of person...think everyone is out to get you. You look to start fights with people....there was no point to your post...
  15. Windows 10

The "spying" people are talking about was for the beta testers. That is always done to find bugs as well as figure out how the OS is being used. That is not part of the final release. The other thing people are talking about is that in the ULA it says that MS will give your files, etc. to law...
  16. Dye sublimation printer or eco-solvent & heat transfer film?

You can do a print and cut heat transfer, which will be fine and all you need is good material to print on. Dye sub right to a product is better though, no hand plus holds up much better over time etc. Marsha

  18. New printer band wagon

Our first Roland was installed in 2007 and still has the same print heads in it today. Just normal maintenance and thats it. Used OEM ink in it since the beginning. Still prints great! Never used any other printer brand though. Marsha
  19. Heat Press

Are you going to be using a print/cut material for the shirts? We use George Knight presses, they are american made and great quality. Marsha
  20. Looking to produce RC car wraps...suggestions?

I dont think thats going to work. I believe you need will need to have heaters to print properly, the 7010 doesn't have any and I can't imagine it would be easy (or safe) to add some. Look into outsourcing to someone here that can turn it around faster. There is no reason it should take more...
