We use 2 stepladders and a 16' 2x12. It was a quick cheap solution when we didn't have time to get the Werner extension platform and has worked for us for years.
It's tough to tell without seeing more pics, but are any of the letters close or is the entire cut off? Looks more like a setup problem or reading the marks incorrectly to be that far off. We use a Roland XC-540 and that is the only times we have trouble is when we screw something up in the...
Turned out awesome!
As a side note for removals, we use a wallpaper steamer to remove old vinyl and it works very well. Haven't tried it with 94 tho so I'm not sure how that would react.
This may be obvious to some, but with employees around we have had weirder things happen. Maybe check to be sure when you set it up that the screen says "EDGE" not "ROLL" or something else.
Singer 300W
By "entry level" do you mean novice or inexpensive??
In my opinion after sewing banners in house for years, I would buy the machine you will use and will last forever. Then after this small run it will be easier to sell the next one and the one after that. It may cost more in the...
We cut down 1/2" MDF for the angled french cleat pieces and then we cut a square cut piece the same length to support the bottom of the art off the wall.

We made a simple jig with some...
We just used some etched vinyl from Fellers that also had air egress which made it a breeze to install. I am not at the shop today but I believe it was MacTac B-Free
We do quite a few boards for offices and lobbies, we mount to 1/2" black gator and glue a french cleat to the back. We use a high temp glue gun, not a hobby one of course.

alphabroder.com
We use a local vendor for our embroidery, however I know Alphabroder.com sells some embroidery supplies you may need. We buy apparel blanks from them and I see it on their site under decoration supplies. At least a start hopefully.
Has anyone seen this font before or should I assume it is hand drawn? Some of the letters don't match but it's also a carpet mat... Thank you in advance!!
This will be a fairly poor answer because I can't find the original source...
However, I saw somewhere on this forum or anywhere I guess, somebody use a freeze spray, like a freeze gum remover or freeze spray (look it up). It hardened and chipped right off with a plastic blade. Granted it was...
You might be able to find the right size in a gasket cutter set. They sell them individually also. Mainly used in automotive industry for creating your own holes in gaskets. There may be a tool out there, but that is what we have used in the past around rivets and dzus buttons on some race cars.
