REds are notoriously bad on inkjets at faster speeds. Try slowing your printer down with a higher resolution and number of passes and watch how much the reds punch up.

The press release calls the ink a water based resin type, so I think you're probably onto something there. It would definitely explain the lower power and heat requirements.

Oddly enough, whatever rapid remover can't get off, seems to come off with rapid tac. I had a crappy old van to redecal that was covered with tree sap and old wax. Remover wasn't making much of a dent in it, but the rapid tac took it off no problem. I'm a big fan of both products.

Any word on what heads they're using in these machines? Never mind the latex machine, the SUV model with the UV drying on the solvent inks seems pretty wild too. Although I'd rather have the durability of solvent compared to the UV ink lifespan.

Acid free papers are pointless when you print with a solvent printer. They only work with aqueous inks. Sure you can print on them with the GS6000, but they're no longer PH neutral due to the solvents in the ink.
